Never again will I ever shop at this store again!! Ashely Homestore, McDonough Ga. I applied and received a card that allowed the purchase of a mattress, cover for it, because w was told I had to have it to. Guarantee the mattress. The sales Mgr Chris no last name given said he was throwing in this $199.00, because no one in their right mind should even consider this do call pillow, for you canāt even keep your head on the thing because it slides. Well I was charged $99.00 for it without knowing it. The promotion was suppose to allow a minimum of 30 day to try out to see if it suited your body. Well I wasnāt given that opportunity. In the promotion I was allowed 90 days to try out, and was suppose to be given the Opportunity to change out the mattress at least once ...that didnāt happen. I called four days before the 30 days were up to try to set up a date for them to pick up the mattress which would have cost me $99 for them to pick up. I was myth with hostility and disrespect to even allow myself to explain why I wanted it picked up. To this day the mattress is still at my house. I have called corporate for synchrony bank Twice. I was told by one of their Reps that they should have just picked up the mattress and credit back my card. The Representative which I choose not to name but if needed I will name said she sent an email to the manager whose name is Rachatd White. That email was never answered. I called back again got another Representative that said she resent the email but notice so far it has not been answered. Never again will I shop at the store nor will this bill get paid because they didnāt honor their part. Now I have all my correspondence if anyone wants to see them I sent a copy of their promotion with my letter. No correspondence yet. This mattress had my body wrecked with so much pain I could no longer stand even trying to sleep on it I would wake up crying in my sleep my body hurts so bad. I understand CBS 46 news has had a similar situation reported. Once I saw how they were treating me I went back to Look at their reviews and it was a 2.9 at the time that was in October now itās a 4.9 I believe how could that be? Somethingās not right. As far as I know the store does not allow customers or clients to return anything even if the damage was theirs before received. I donāt know how they stayed in business for so long. I was with my sister when I went into the store I knew nothing of the store before that. Looking forward to someone contacting me about the situation because I have already contacted the credit bureau which the account is not there yet. I wrote a letter anyway

My husband & I are getting ready to welcome our baby into the world so we showed up to purchase new furniture on 11/12. We found a perfect set with the help of Greg and it was to be delivered on 11/30. We received a call on 11/26 stating that our item is on back order and has been delayed to 12/8. On 12/2, we were notified via email that our delivery has been delayed again until 12/21. We promptly went to the store to figure out what was going on and why in the world we were allowed to purchase something that was on back order without being notified as we would have went with something that was available. Spoke with Greg and he told us that a PO was attached to our items and was guaranteed for it to be ours and delivered on the 21st. He also stated everything was in stock except for the main piece of our sectional which is causing the delay. But it was to be at the warehouse and to us on the 21st. Today, 12/18, I call to make sure weāre still on schedule and am told itās been delayed now until the 12/26 and that our recliner is now also out of stock so it wonāt be delivered until 12/29. When we were in the store i explicitly stated that I did not want to keep getting pushed off with the delivery date and was told the PO guaranteed that the furniture was ours. Turns out the PO doesnāt mean anything as now our recliner isnāt available when it once was. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. We now have to scramble and go somewhere else to buy furniture before our baby is born. Sucks because we really loved and weāre looking forward to the furniture we picked out but they literally canāt deliver on their promises. Greg was great, but he should have divulged that the furniture we picked was on back order so we could decide if we still wanted it. Edit to add, I spoke with a representative from the store and stated that If they cannot get our furniture to us by the 21st as promised then we want to cancel because we donāt want to keep having our time wasted as we are already in a time crunch. Attempted to speak with the manager as I need answered now so I know to start shopping elsewhere, and after being on hold was told that the representative spoke with the manager & explained the situation and that they were going to try to reach out to the warehouse. Asked the delivery person to set up the bed frame and matress, and he refused. He said he couldn't cause the headboard was not the correct one. Called Ashley and went around to the store where i bought the bedroom set at Mcdonough and spoke to the salesman who sold me the bed set. Did some checking and came back and said there was no mistake on his side and that the delivery person is responsible for picking up the items and delivering and setting it up to the customer. This whole process is one major cluster F*. I've been waiting for 20 minutes for an answer to what they gonna do getting my headboard that i purchased. The manager had the audacity to tell me to calm down, knowing that people spend thousands of dollars in this place. I will still need to get a few mote furniture, but i will not buy it from ashley!
Update: 06-21 The manager at this Location Julien is truly unprofessional, went at the store yesterday, and spoke to them about delivery and setup of the bed and how the contractor responsible for delivery and setup totally messed up the delivery of the items i purchased. Today, i went by there cause i didn't hear from them after julien said they would call me yesterday or he would call me this morning for the update. manager Julien was extremely rude and told me to calm down and sit down, which is not how you treat a customer who is disgruntled by the delivery service and in effectiveness of the store management team to coordinate with their delivery contractor and to provide the customer with adequate updates let alone keeping their word to call and update the customer when they say so, this feels like used car dealership tactics. From the manager trying to direct the customer to do his will until the lack of blatant follow-up. Therefore, i canceled the order and asked for a full refund. I took my business somewhere else, and this is how service should be rendered. Selected products we wish to purchase were given multiple options to meet the desired financial arrangement. After everything was agreed upon, scheduled delivery, authorization for products, the showroom service rep provided us with their personal contact info, days off in case we need to reach them during the schedule delivery process. None of these things was done by anyone at Ashley's, which shows a lack of commitment as well as professionalism to and for the customers patronizing their store.
