In the past year I've become increasingly obsessed with Boba Cafés. I've been determined to try a new Boba location wherever I go, always ordering a Matcha Milk Tea or Slushie with regular boba.
Today I visited the newly opened Boba Mi. I got the Matcha Milk Slushie with regular boba and a Korean Corn Dog filled with mozzarella cheese, and I'm VERY happy with everything. The slushie had flavor and was not watered-down, and the corn dog was unique and delicious.
Like with every Boba Cafe, you get to pick the toppings and sugar levels. There are many flavors to choose from, they even have lattes. The corn dogs can come with sugar or sauces as well. The menu selection is pretty big, as they have something for any craving - even dessert!
The location is very convenient and the inside is kept at a very nice temperature, perfect for summer. They have instagram-worthy decorations if you want to take cute pictures with your friends, free wifi (posted on the wall for convenience) if you wanted to do some studying or work in their cute main seating area, and board games to enjoy while you wait. The staff is also very friendly and are very good at answering any questions you might have. They also allow you to sample the boba if you were curious about the taste before committing to an order.
I will...
Read moreFirst off let me say my first two times coming here were great. The customer service was amazing and the food. Unfortunately, today not so much. I ordered two boba teas and a nacho. I had only 1 issue. Which was my Oreo boba didnât have any Oreo flavoring in it. All that they had to do was add more of the flavoring or remake it. Well one of the ladies decided to imply she was not lying and I was lying. Excuse me? I stated I didn't call her a liar nor implied that it wasnât the Oreo that I ordered and I know she wasnât calling me a liar. She then states well I donât know what you want me to do , I stated make it over. After this experience I will not be going back. I work too hard for my money to patronize bad businesses that think they can talk to you however they choose. Itâs plenty of other boba tea spots near and I will try them. Their noodles might be good but the way I was treated today was a bit much. The tea was still warm and it didnât taste at all like Oreo. End of the day after she felt the cup herself she knew it was warm but she still wanted to be rude. Iâm sure sheâs probably the owner too. Also the nachos were overly full with onions. I wasnât my...
Read moreMy family and I tried this place today. We had never been before, as we usually go to King Kong Milktea and love it. But, we wanted to give a new place a try. We will never go back here. The staff were okay, just quiet and not super sociable, which is fine with me because I have social anxiety anyway. The decor is adorable. But the milk teas were absolutely horrid. My daughter had a banana milk tea and it literally tasted like watery rotten banana peel. Me and other family members had the brown sugar milk tea and I knew right off, from how it looked, that it was wrong. It was completely brown, dark brown like coffee with a drop of creamer, and had no flavor. I have never seen a brown sugar milk tea look like this one, and I've been to several other places besides King Kong Milktea to try the same flavor. It tasted like water. This place is super adorable and maybe they were just having an off day or a bad batch of something, but we definitely...
