American Deli — Restaurant in Georgia

This is by far the worst American Deli I have been to. There was one by my husband and I before we moved to the area and this one doesn't hold a candle to our usual one. So let's recap: Strike 1: when I placed my order I told the guy up front I wanted my wings extra crispy. When I got my order not only were they super soggy with lemon pepper sauce but the were also soft. Not crispy at all Strike 2: As my husband went in to pay he asked that our drinks be large. The guy up front charged us for a large drink but then proceeded to fill up a regular size cup Strike 3: My husband ordered the chicken philly which should be renamed the onion salad. Not only was there more onion than chicken but the whole thing fell completely apart to where he needed a fork to eat it. I've never had to eat a sandwich with anything more than my hands but that's just me. In conclusion we will not be returning to this establishment and would highly recommend others to stay away as well. Also the food in its entirety wasn't that great. The food used to be quality food , nice size wings, now they look like parts of a hen. The cooks are not clean they put a divider up, so now you can't see they don't wash their hand or drop food and to see if they throw it away. They are on their phones with the gloves on and then handle your phone with the same gloves. The girl with the long lashes light brown skinned has the nastiest behavior. She needs to learn customer service. She has no clue. Neither do the cooks . This American Deli wasn't always like this they had some really good worker in the past. This knew owner doesn't even speak English he just waved his hand at me when I asked him a question. Something is always wrong in there. I have decided I will not buy anything from a place that doesn't know how to treat their customers and service decent food. This is my resent order and all my food was cold delivered by Door Dash American Deli is right around the corner food cold I mean cold. Will never order again....

Beyond irritated. I must say that the American Deli you decide to go to absolutely matters!!! I typically will drive all the way to the one in the Fayetteville, Pavilion Plaza, where they make the food perfect every time.

However, Friday I allow my kids to pick their food of choice and I decided to go with a local location. The wings are absolutely hard and crunchy. My daughter hurt her tooth from this crunchy flat. The fries were even overcooked. I’m sure they haven’t changed the grease all day but it’s unacceptable for the wait that the food is not dropped fresh. I usually specify this because my kids are so picky, but I wanted to trust that the food would be fresh.

You can absolutely tell that the wings were dropped twice or they sat in the fryer basket and then dropped again upon ordering. NEVER AGAIN!! I ended up having to take them out to dinner, which wasn’t a problem, but they really wanted American deli. You all ruined our...
