So I went to the Mattress Firm McDonough location for a new queen mattress. I met a sales associate and decided on the mattress I wanted. She asked if I wanted to do the 12 month no interest, fine as I will pay it off before then. I get the mattress and and I am not happy with it (it was sinking in the middle!) I Went back to the store and Jalia (may be spelling his name wrong) helped me to exchange the mattress I get the new one and it was no better for me than the first. A few days later I started getting calls from the finance company wanting to confirm if I am the person who bought the mattress?! I told the lady do not call me during my work time and start questioning who I am. Later that day I get a bill from the finance company with a card? The bill shows the mattress and a $199 annual fee?! I called them as I did not ask for a card especially not one with a fee! They tell me that is a part of their financing for the mattress. I told them I will not be paying their fee. I called Mattress Firm back and talk to Charles on 5/14 and told him I was still not happy with the mattress and then to find out the finance company wants to charge $199.00 is not going to work for me. He told me he would schedule a pickup and a return of the mattress with a $249.00 restock fee. I said no problem, he responded the earliest they could pick up would be after Memorial Day. I told him that is fine as I am going out of town. Today, 5/27 I called the store and Ann tells me that there is no record of my request or conversation with Charles?! Now I am hot! I have a new mattress coming tomorrow and Mattress Firm is playing games! Will update when they pick this up.
Update- I was called this morning 5/28 and the young lady processed my refund and scheduled a pickup of the mattress. This I do appreciate as good customer service is hard to...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to shop for our first mattress and spoke with Steven. Steven was an exceptional sales associate. I was afraid this would be like going in and buying a car. But. He made the experience fun & worth it. Made us feel a lot more confident about spending nearly 4,000$ to purchase our mattress and everything for our bed. He took excellent care of us! He should be the manager! Fast forward 2 months later & we are ready to purchase our King Beauty Rest. I called the location by La Parilla and spoke with Terry to make sure Steven was working. He sent me to a Mattress Factory store. This was very unsettling. After going on a wild goose Chase locating Steven we find out he will be at another location tomorrow. The only thing that saved this sale is Steven! I called the store to let them know they need to give customers accurate information and Terry the MANAGER hung up on me. Terry is very unprofessional and should not treat a valued customer with such disrespect. I will never go to that location again & will make sure anyone that does go only talks to Steven. Steven deserves a raise if he has to deal with unprofessional people such as Terry. My boyfriend called Terry to let him know he will be getting an awful google review & he tries to call back. Make sure you go to the location by Olive Garden or you will have to deal with Terry the...
Read moreYeah I actually went there because a new dollar store opened up call your dollar store. Well I think that's what it's called well I decided to go and have a look see however when I arrived I was glad I did because at least I knew I would not be coming back. First and last if your store name does not represent the merchandise pricing within your store however the quality of the merchandise within the store does? nine times out of 10 I'm not coming back! FYI there are too many Dollar Trees and Family Dollars out there as your direct competition why would you open up a Moms and Pops Dollar Store and not honor the name dollar within your pricing? My advise is honor your name and here's why, because as a bargain shopper no customer enjoys or wants to tolerate "false advertisement" it's aggregating and time consuming to us which turns us into unhappy customers. We all need to start striving to be more honest and transparent about our motives when conducting business and relationships with customers and others! I myself happen to be a work...
