The Juicy Crab McDonough — Restaurant in Georgia

Today is my son's 12th birthday and he wanted to come to Juicy Crab for the first time. I started writing this review at 6:21 pm which means we have literally been waiting for 22 minutes without anyone coming to table to address us. This is absolutely ridiculous. We first sat in the 600 section and waited 11 minutes before we were told the guy didn't come in to work and we needed to move. The host had us follow her to another section where I watched her and the waiter go back and forth about us not sitting in his section. So I just go back towards the front and wait. Finally the host comes back and sits us in section right near the entrance. Still waiting and it's 6:25 and my autistic daughter is hungry and my son is feeling disappointed and upset he chose this place. Someone just said at 6:27 they would be right with us. It wasn't busy or packed at all. This will be our 1st and last time at this establishment that has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. If it wasn't for my son and wanting him to be happy I'd be gone. It's 6:29 the hostess comes to ask if we would like something to drink until our waitress can get to us. Like why in the hell would it take 31 minutes just to get something to drink. No apologies just horrible service and no respect for someone's time at all. Of all the places my son could have chose why here?? As you see I have nothing but time to write a long review because I'm not being serviced or helped in any way. We finally get drinks at 6:34 but my cup is bent and top won't stay. Still no sign of a waitress at all. Looks like we'll still be here after kids bedtime. Maybe we can order eventually. 37 minutes of sitting as I end...

This review is from my visit to Juicy Crabs on New Years eve to purchase seafood to enjoy as the New Years come in...but my shrimp, corn and smoke sausages...the shrimp was overcooked and soggy it was very evident. My expectation was to cook me 2 lbs of shrimp the right way. I had to 1st go back and because I did not come in with all the shrimp they literally gave me 5-6 shrimps. The manager on duty stated this was because people come in and eat the food and then did not want to pay. I really did not understand how this was related to me and clear evidence of the overcooked shrimps (nasty shrimp). The final out come was my husband went back the second time and brought all of there bad shrimp back in... and they gave him more bad shrimp. Overall this was unacceptable service as well prepared food. Whenever i am spending my hard earned money,my expectation is good food and service. The owner went out the back door (do not deserve my business), because he did not want to face a customer, the manager she was a black women who was not professional, as there is NO Excuse when you know your cooks or chefs were messing up...(advisement)...listen to your customer., each have a voice and are different. Horrible way to end your year, running back 2 or more times to get satisfaction, and never will i ever visit this...

My coworkers and I took the individuals we take care of here. We got there are soon as they first opened. We were first in line. There were 18 of us. There were 2 people behind us. Those 2 people had gotten their food, ate, and left before we even got our food. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks and appetizers (only 5 appetizers were ordered). It took an hour and 15 minutes to get out meals. Then, the food was mediocre. I tried the gator bites and hated them. It was my first time trying them though so it might have just been I don't like gator bites, but I got the chicken tenders and fries. I love chicken tenders and fries everywhere else. It was not that good at all here. Then, we were forced to pay 18% gratuity. We had to pay gratuity when it took us an hour and a 15 minutes to get our food. And the place wasn't even packed. There were only 4 other people in there the whole time we were there, and that's including the 2 people who got there just behind us. Not to mention it took 5 minutes anytime anyone asked for a refill to get our drinks back. Plus, the server almost never came by our table so it was difficult to even ask for a refill. I am so angry!! I will never spend another penny here!! I do not recommend this place at all! I wish I could give...
