I visited this location after placing an order on the app. I ordered a cobb salad with no corn, bacon, or tomatoes- as I was ordering for a picky eater. After arriving and going inside, I waited for about seven minutes before being handed my order. I started to walk out but something told me to check the order to make sure it is accurate. Behold, I look into the bag and I was giving a salad with CORN, BACON & TOMATOES.
I asked the young polite women at the register about this, and she went and spoke to a stern, slender, short & unhappier woman with brown complexion who informed her, "We do not remove items!"
At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. I found her feedback contradictory seeing as though every other chick fil a I've been too in Atlanta, Dunwoody, Stonecrest, Tucker, Alpharetta, Northlake, Hiram, and even up north in New Jersey and Maryland - how could all of those other chick fil a's could remove the bacon, corn and tomatoes, but the locations in douglasville cannot. Interesting!!
The male manager came over to greet me (he appeared to be in his late 20's early 30's, with a mind so far off - like his brain was in deep space 9) and he states, "We get these rules from corporate and they say we are not allowed to make modifications to the order as it ruins the recipe."
I responded, "If the recipe was so marvelous, I would not be requesting that you make modifications." Furthermore, "Why did the app accept my order with modifications, if modifications are not allowed?"
The manager replied, "We do not control the app, corporate does."
Soooooo, everything is corporate's fault, although this location seemed to be individually owned and operated. Ah, got it!
These douglasville stores are franchisee's which explain why the only two locations within the 12 mile radius think their recipes are unbeatable despite people who make special requests due to food allergies. It's the audacity for me.
Additionally, if corporate does not allow you to make modifications and corporate controls the app, wouldn't you think they would disable the feature where it allows customers to request modifications.
Moreover, if you knew you were not going to make the modifications, why did you fill the order and hand it to me with a sticker on the bag reading "-tomatoes -corn -bacon" IMPLYING that you had in fact removed the items I requested to be removed. Upon my arrival, that should have been the first thing you said to me before handing me this food.
The suggested verbiage IS, "Ma'am we sincerely apologize...We do have a cobb salad available, but sadly we are too lazy, inconsiderate, and arrogant to remove the tomatoes, bacon, and corn as you have requested. Before you walk out of this store, get in your car, and drive home we wanted to give you an opportunity to either make a new selection or request a refund..." Chick fil a, pay attention -I'm giving you free on the job training, before you all make another mistake, with a customer who is not as patient as I am.
I'm telling you now, had I driven home and opened that salad with that bacon, tomatoes, and corn on it, AND YOU DID NOT LET ME KNOW BEFORE I DROVE OFF...... lol- I'll put it like this- I wasn't going to be the only one disappointed and frustrated that night. I PROMISE YOU!!! If I would have had to drive back to that store, I would have put on a show, and not a pretty one.
Chick fil a- y'all need to clean up y'all's act!! It's not...
Read moreSeptember 24,2020. @ 4pm the store on Douglasville,GA Hwy 5 so don't confuse this store with Arbor Mall location.Hwy 5. We had the most horrible experience in all the chick fil a stores in the entire world. The creators of chick fil a and his family would closed this store down or fire the manager on duty if they witness his behavior today. So We only went to this location because we had a door dash, however against my better judgement( because this was the 1st Time ever seeing a chick fil a looking like a Sunday on a Thursday. We ordered the door dash and once again I 2nd guessed my self and ordered 3 meals. Along with the Doordash. We pull to the window outside were two men standing at the window no one greeted us because they were talking. A older Man with an accent proceeded to pass me a bag all while he was in a deep conversation with the younger man LOOKING AT HIM.I thought that was rude so I waited until he was finish talking and pretty much forced him to stop talking and pay attention to what he was doing while passing my food.then I said to him that's rude for you to not pay attention to your customer. He was hurt his feeling his ego and his world.Because when he passed me the door dash food and milkshake. Was not covered.I said sir this is a doordash I can not take this milkshake to anyone with a open top.please cover it. He said you have to pull up for a doordash top. I said no. He said I'm calling the police. I said go ahead I'm not moving for a top that's crazy. I also said you will definitely have a real line by the time they get here. All while the younger man was asking for a top to cover the milkshake. The older man was pacing back and forth with evil in his eyes he ordered someone to call the police.I said your status as a manager has gone to your head.you need calm down.and pass me the paid for shake with a top.Imagine the police who handle Emergency had to come to Chick fil a about a top.The company name is at stake the shame and embarrassment that the employees had to endure watching a manager carry on in such away. Tax payers are not paying taxes for the police to be wasting time on a manager who has no self control.now let me tell you about the food the sandwich was old& hard the bread was not a eatable nor the nuggets. I have a picture to show you.thats why no one was there. No one wants to eat old food. With bad service.... I am a business owner I would never leave my business in the hands of a person who did not understand my mission of my company!!!! He also said he was the manager he could do what he want to do...so. Mr.MM you might want to...
Read moreI was running late one morning. I had my eight year old son with me. I’m a type one diabetic and felt shaky weak dizzy I pulled into the Chick-fil-A to get something to eat as I was ordering I realized I did not have my purse. I will make a long story short, but after showing about eight employees, my insulin pump that has my real time blood sugar on it. That it was low and dropping down how I was feeling held out my hand and was shaking told them that this was an emergency and Didn’t have my purse. I called my dad and asked if he would pay for something over the phone and they said no that they could not do that. My dad was on the phone asking them to please help me as well as my eight year old son the whole time they’re trying to rush me through the drive-through line, telling me to pull forward to forward. I was sweaty, shaky, disoriented, weak nauseated, and I kept asking them for help and showing them my blood sugar and explaining to them that I simply forgot my purse. I’m not trying to get a free drink off anyone and that it was an emergency and I needed help finally and Man told me to pull forward to where you wait to get food when they run it out to you and I thought he was going to bring me anything even sugar packets I asked for.. he came up to the car and said that he could not give me anything to drink or help me and that if I could get $2.20 or some odd change, I can’t remember the exact amount of change that he could get me a drink other than that he could not help me and he apologized. I was panicking. My son was so upset. We were digging through the car looking for anything for me to be able to eat or drink. I had to eat an old piece of candy that I found under a seat. I was not thinking clearly because my blood sugar was so low and drove off because I was still in a hurry trying to get my son to the dentist appointment by Gods grace we made it there. I was in total shock and disgusted by the way I was treated and that my son had to witness this ignorance...
