I was ordering a drink to pick up and when I was walking to this Starbucks, I glanced at the location I was ordering from and read “…first floor mall of GA Starbucks” so I assumed it was the correct one but when I got there and waited a while I double checked on my phone and reread the location and saw it said “Macys first floor mall”. So I kindly told the worker what happened, and asked what I should do, and she told me she would ask her manager. A few minutes later the worker walks back to me but the manager lady pops her head from the back room yelling at the worker loud enough for everyone to hear saying “JUST BC SHE ORDERED WRONG LOCATION DOESNT MEAN WE GON’ REMAKE IT FOR HER HER, WE DONT GET NO MONEY FROM THEM”. I was so appalled that she would speak to the worker like that. There’s ways to communicate without coming off so rude and disrespectful. I’m not asking for a free drink, I’m just wondering how to proceed with refund etc.. the worker told me I have to go through the app which is fine, I know it’s my mistake. However the manager really could have just said “Hey unfortunately there’s nothing we can do on our end, and we don’t get any money from that location so you would have to get a refund via the app”. I feel like customer service now a days is just so on edge, where is human decency. It’s honestly less energy output to be kind than to be mean. Visited 10/27/24...
Read moreI was able to order in person now. The store is open. When ordering I was holding the bottom of my mask outward slightly. Barrister told me to put it all the way down. I was still covering my chin, mouth and nose. Just pulled it about 1/8" away at bottom so I could speak easier. How incredibly rude of him. He wasn't following protocals at all. He kept leaning around the plastic shield instead of staying behind it thus exposing ME to HIM and he's worried that I pulled my mask slightly away from chin so I can communicate easier.
When the drink was made the barrister placed on counter that was not behind the plastic shield. I asked him to bring it around to the correct place behind the plastic shield and he refused.
One would think that after being shut down so long they would treat people better. With the seriousness of covid that they would follow the correct protocals.
Also a sign in front of the store said they allowed a maximum of 6 people in the store. I was in line outside the store until there were only 5 people (including staff) in the store. I started in and was to wait. They follow what ever procedure they want but not the...
Read moreI always go in the morning when they first open when there’s no line and not busy bc I’m not a patient person and don’t wanna take chances of my order getting mixed up or forgotten! I work at the mall and when I see the line going out the door, I don’t CHOOSE to wait in a long long long line because I know it won’t be the best experience as the baristas are only human and are bound to make mistakes, be tired, etc. Most of the bad reviews are from moronic people who choose to wait in a line going out the door on a Saturday afternoon instead of just stopping by a starbucks before coming to the mall. like come on now, it’s inside the MALL OF GA! duh it’s gonna be busy and hectic!! the baristas are always super friendly with me and make my drink FAST probably because I go at the right time and when it’s too busy I go elsewhere that serves coffee and is nowhere near as busy because like I said, I’m a grown adult who knows I’m impatient and would NEVER CHOOSE TO wait in such an outrageous line and packed full of...
