UPDATE: We decided to return to Snooze a few weeks after opening. Their app gives you the option to reserve seating in advance. Around 9 am this past Sunday I went to book for two. The earliest time at that point was 1:30 pm. No problem. We showed up promptly at our reserved time to a restaurant with half the tables empty on the inside and the patio completely empty. There were people waiting outside and plenty of servers walking around and some just standing around talking. After approaching the hostess stand we were told that it would still be another 60-90 minutes wait due to a shortage of kitchen staff and wanting to "give us the experience we deserved." Well first, I deserved to not be given a reservation for a time and no follow-up to inform me of the long wait once I arrived. I obviously would not have driven over there only to be told I am going to have to wait another 60-90 minutes. This is not a good look for a restaurant that has only been opened a few weeks to not be prepared for Sunday brunch, especially in a populated area like this. Things happen, but at least not allow guests to still make useless reservations. Time for Plan B when this happens. Also, when the kitchen door opened, there seemed to be a lot of people back there. Is there an issue with getting backed up due to Uber Eats/Grubhub orders? I hope these kinks are worked out because I love the food and was looking forward to your opening.
We were fortunate to enjoy a complimentary brunch at Snooze during their soft opening. We were sat promptly on their roomy patio. Gaven was our server and he was very enthusiastic and helpful. There were a few items they were out of due to a hectic first day, but that didn’t affect the many options.
We have been to Snooze a few times in Colorado while traveling, so we were excited to try the Pumpkin Pancake. It was one of the best we’ve had. I even recommend sharing one for dessert because it is so deliciously rich. The Breakfast Carbonara was full of flavor, with creamy eggs Sam’s tender habanero-rubbed pork belly. The Monte Cristo Toast was solid with a raspberry pepper jam, but not as filling as the regular sandwich.
The service was a bit overwhelmed by the crowd and the food all came out at different times, but that’s the reason for a soft opening as I’m sure they’ll work out the kinks. Be patient because this is an exceptional brunch place that’ll do very well. Thanks for having us and all the best. We’ll be...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of brunching at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, located in the Exchange at Gwinnett, and it was an experience that left me wondering why the place wasn’t a lot more crowded. From the moment we were greeted by the hostess to our interactions with the wait staff, everyone was exceptionally nice.
The restaurant features a charming setup, with a great pet-friendly patio area. The indoor dining room offers a modern twist on a 1950’s diner vibe, creating a bright and lively atmosphere that puts you in a good mood.
The coffee was good and hot, the blood orange mimosa was large and boozy, and what followed did not disappoint; everything was plated with care. The sweet potato bacon smash-up topped with pickled onions offered a dynamic mix of flavors that was both refreshing and filling. The cinnamon orange pancake, served with warm syrup, struck the perfect balance of sweet and citrus. As for the double bacon sandwich with sriracha maple syrup topping, it was nothing short of perfection. Even the crab cake benedict, which my wife—a Maryland native—praised for its use of actual lump crab, was a hit.
The kids' meal was not only a generous portion but also seemed designed to please even the pickiest of eaters. (Extra points for supplying REAL Crayola crayons) I was genuinely surprised that the place wasn’t super packed given how fantastic the food was.
In my opinion, Snooze at the Exchange at Gwinnett is the most underrated brunch spot in the area. Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet, savory, or a bit of both, this place has you covered with its delightful mix of flavors and impeccable service. Plus, the area offers other attractions within walking distance, like Andretti's, Topgolf, and pickleball, making it a perfect spot for a full day of...
