So, I was on my way home North when I was in the turn lane to get on the freeway. Hunger pains hit and I asked google for the nearest Mexican spots. Hacienda Bar & Grill was the 2nd option and had the best reviews. It was behind me so I had already passed it but I decided to head there anyway. I'm glad that I did. A companion and myself entered into a hacienda like establishment. It smelled of good food cooking, various tables were occupied, my lights were low The television playing over the bar was at a comfortable level and there was a general sense of good things happen here good things are made here good time is enjoyed here. We were shown to our table immediately, where menus replaced silverware set and chips and salsa brought on the dbl. Our waitress was their legally split taking our drink orders and inquiring whether we wanted to start with an appetizer? We declined the appetizer and jump straight to the entré Mills The menu is tastefully done with clear-cut breakdowns of what each meal consisted of. Me growing up in Los Angeles I was immersed in the Latino culture and love all things Latino up to an especially including the food. So not being able to make a decision myself I asked our server would she recommended and I went with that recommendation. I know that restaurants are not fast food however this food that was served was piping hot, quick to the table and the proportions were filling. My companion and I enjoyed ourself immensely ate unheardly there was a birthday going on in the Lanai area of the establishment and the entire weight staff joined in singing Happy Birthday and well wishes. There was a languid error about the place but one that did not speak of lackadaisical anyway just a vocation that appeared to be a vacation which if you can hit that ideal homeostasis is what life should be. For my first time coming to this restaurant I was thoroughly pleased with the exemplary service the excellent food and the overall cleanliness of the place everything and I know that you know everything can't be perfect and I'm sure some detractions which is that it should be however I haven't experienced any negatives on this trip so for me it's a 100% all the way across the board. Thank you to the staff at hacienda bar and grill for making my excursion a memorable and enjoyable one and one that I will be...
Read moreWow from the Decore to the service to the food and the drinks Hacienda Bar & Grill is definitely on the top of the list if you’re looking for a good restaurant to go to.
The menu is extensive and has almost anything you’d want. This was our first time so we decided to keep it simple and ordered their chimichanga which was amazing . I love when they don’t skimp on the queso . The rice was tasty as well.
We received the traditional chips and Salsa for the table which comes with two kinds of salsa While I wasn’t fan of the regular salsa the chipotle salsa is for sure the way to go. Note: tortilla chips does come salt less so definitely add salt . We ordered their queso which came with a side of diced jalapeños : Tip add the chipotle salsa with the green jalapeños to the queso it will take it to the next level. (promise)
We also ordered Margaritas one frozen one on the rocks it was so very very good we ended up ordering 2 each 😜.
Service was amazing . Our sever was both attentive & Kind . Food & Drinks presentation was aesthetically beautiful. Definitely looking forward to trying more...
Read moreI’ve been here about 3 times and I can say the third time wasn’t a charm. Although mostly everyone here is very welcoming and nice, Tonight I went out to eat with my husband and two kids and I felt so rushed the whole time I was here! My server was Deissy P. And she kept insisting we order something within the first 20 min we were there, and it wasn’t even 8pm. However when we decided to order something for my son, she forgot his side of fries and didn’t even bother to refill his drink. When it came time to pay We asked for the check and a to go box, she literally stood there just waiting for us to pay when we had barely even looked at the check. We felt so pressured to pay and leave her a tip, when we hadn’t even packed our to go box. So maybe if you’re looking to spend some time here and enjoy time with loved ones, let the server know ahead of time so they don’t rush you to get out. (Not everyone is going to leave a bad tip. Treat...
