This is my second time here. The first time I was with my mother n law, we sat in the dining area, and it was not packed, and the service was not great at all. We had a server named O. I think it was. She was very slow and subpar. This time, we sat at the bar, and OMG, it was worse. 5 people behind the bar and no organization. Who knew you had to ask for your grilled chicken tacos to come hot???? It's a Taco, for God sake, who eats a cold taco?? And your excuse is it's like a salad. No, ma'am. I've been waiting for chips to go with my queso dip for over 20 min. Now my dip is cold, and I've asked for chips at least 4 times. Did you have to go to kroger for the chips? While sitting at the bar, I observed another customer come to the bar complaining about his drink not being made right. He literally waited 30 min before someone remade it, and that was only after he finally had enough and stopped someone else to make his drink. My husband ordered the enchiladas supremas, and it came out Luke warm. No one had water on the bar, but one person. Everyone should always be given water, especially at the bar. You should always greet your customer with a smile, your name, menu, silverware/napkin, and water. This is crazy. Is anybody behind the bar serve safe certified?? I'll just continue to go to the one on Roswell Road until they get it together on scenic hwy cause this is ridiculous. It's not even busy, and their is no type of organization whatsoever. I work in restaurant management, and this would never happen on my shift as a GM. They need to really get it...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to try this Mexican restaurant for a date night, and we had an incredible time! From the moment we arrived, we were drawn to the cozy outdoor fireplace—a perfect spot to relax before or after our meal. They even have a dedicated area for kids to play, which makes it a great family-friendly spot too. The ambiance is beautiful, with a stylish, authentic feel and a mix of Spanish music that sets the perfect vibe.
We've been to many Mexican restaurants, and this one truly impressed us. I’m surprised to hear others may not have had the best experience, because for us, the food was fantastic. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was spot on. I started with the empanadas (both beef and chicken), and they were delicious—soft, perfectly cooked, and the sauces added just the right kick. My wife had the beef enchiladas, and I went for the burrito supremo with grilled chicken. My meal was fantastic; the chicken was well-seasoned, and the combination of rice, pico de gallo, and beans made every bite flavorful. While the beef in the enchilada could have used a touch more seasoning, it was still very tasty.
This is definitely a place where you leave feeling satisfied and full. We’re excited to come back and try more items from their menu! The cozy, simple setup makes it perfect for a date night, but it’s also a welcoming spot for families. I can really see this place thriving, and honestly, I hope it stays a bit of a hidden gem. Highly recommend for a laid-back,...
Read moreI want to start with the fact that we own a restaurant so we completely understand all complications that come with it. That being said we showed up today for my Mother’s Day Dinner because tomorrow will be chaotic for us. We were told it would be 20-25 minutes so we went and sat at the bar. Bartender was fabulous And the drinks were great. True to form within 20-25 minutes 4 table got up and left. Unfortunately, 20 minutes later we were still looking at dirty tables and people waiting outside as well as ourselves. We went to say something to the hostess at which point they went out there and in the next 10 minutes tables were cleaned and we were led to the patio. Again, we sat there for 20 minutes or more with servers dealing with the tables around us, and even the ones that came in after us, but not one server came to us even after we asked for our server. At this point, we would never gotten our food in time before we had to go to work. When. we went to speak to the manager about it, he did one of the worst things you could do. He made excuses by telling us there were shift changes, he was Helping in the bar etc.. I know it’s a busy weekend. I get it, but it was not a great experience, especially for a Mother’s Day dinner for myself and it definitely wasn’t the best way to deal with us. we left and all we had in the hour and 15 minutes we were there was one drink. atmosphere was fine just a little loud from the live music, which is why we were looking to go...
