We thought we would stop in in a hot day to try a new ice cream shop in Gettysburg, patronize local business. The ice cream was tasty although it was so hot it started melting all over the place before we even sat down if we could have sat comfortably with a wobbly plate. The atmosphere did not leave us feeling like it would be a repeat experience. We tried it for the flight concept of trying a variety of flavors. One challenge is that if you don’t do a walk away ice cream cone and someone is sitting in the one table designated comfortably for 3 (we had four) it makes it difficult to balance your “flight” on your laps- we had to borrow a chair from the one other table and as fast as it was melting it was a hot mess. I would suggest purchasing walk away cones- and don’t let your parking expire or you can add a $40 meter parking ticket if you are less than three minutes late from your ice cream flight. We supported local business and the borough of Gettysburg on a hot flight -the ice cream was tasty.

We stopped here on 30 Sept 2025 after finding Lulu’s closed for no posted reason. My brother-in-law had Cookies and Cream and I had Chocolate Marshmallow in a Waffle Cone. Total bill $11 Very smooth product for my tastebuds. The receipt still shows the Merchantile Museum address on it. They also decorated for Halloween so don’t be scared walking to the side of the building to get your treats!

They put the "cream" in ice cream. Delicious! They hard part is deciding which flavor to go with. Some flavors are seasonal and others stick around. A scoop of that cold, creamy goodness in a waffle cone was all I needed. Order at the window, park that thing in one of the shaded patio chairs, and enjoy.

An older lady in front of me returned her vanilla ice cream because it was supposed to be chocolate, and what she returned happened to be the same exact thing I ordered. I wasn't really paying attention to what they were doing behind the counter so I was surprised to receive my order almost immediately. I noticed my portion was slightly small but thought nothing of it.

Then the worker called out my order and put it up by the window as I was already seated and eating. That's when I realized they had served me the lady's returned ice cream.... Absolutely disgusting. I threw it out immediately and got out of there. Plenty of other ice cream shops you can visit in Gettysburg where you probably don't have to worry about getting someone elses food they already took...

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Until today, the gentleman working had such an attitude for absolutely no reason. With everyone in front of me. I noticed on my receipt it said blueberry when I ordered banana. No big deal I wanna make sure I’m getting what I asked for. “Well that’s what I put it in as…” ok man I’m just making sure again I’m getting what I asked for. Well as he proceeds to finish my order he gently slams it on the counter and says “there’s your order.” I’m not one to complain and honestly this is my first google review I’ve ever left. But I’ve worked in customer service and food that that not how you...
