Entirely ran by goofy high school kids that are more concerned with socializing with each other then paying attention to their job. Have had no issues with the food itself but they mess the order up every single time. Literally the past ten times we have been there we have had to correct them at the window. Make sure you check your order every time. They will mess it up. A wrong flavored dilly bar here, no milk with the kids meal there, just small stuff but incorrect nonetheless. This last time tonight my wife ordered a cotton candy blizzard. When she took a bite it turned out to be vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. When I took it inside to get it fixed the sophomore told me they were out of the cotton candy flavor so he just put in sprinkles instead. I couldn't help but laugh. I wasn't even mad. I didn't even bother talking to the manager about my past 10 experiences there because she looked to be about 18 and I had a feeling it would fall on deaf ears anyway. She looked about as motivated as the rest of the kids. I was once there too working at Wendy's but at least I had a decent manager to keep us in line. I wonder if the owners have any clue as to what is going on?!?
Update:
Tried to give them another chance and grabbed a cotton candy blizzard and took it home a few days later. It was the same thing. Vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. Went back to the store a day later to talk to the manager. Again, it was a 19yo. She said she couldn't give me a blizzard because I didn't have the receipt even though I talked to her the night before when I called to complain. Talked to another manager a couple days later and she would not do it either. She said I could be making it up and have no proof that I was ever there. As I tried to explain the situation she continued to talk over me. When I said I was going to call corporate she taunted me and said go ahead and that she didn't care. At first this was funny but now I'm actually pissed.
I come here because of my kids but after being treated like this I will not spend another dime on this location. I am going to call corporate and have a field day with this. Downgraded to 1 star. Never again. Stay away from this place. They don't deserve our hard earned money. Have fun being out of high school and working at Dairy Queen. I bet your parents are...
Read moreI ordered a half pound burger and the family ordered meals that include chicken strips and a quarter pound hamburger. We also ordered an Oreo blizzard and an ice cream sundae with pecans, hot chocolate syrup and Carmel syrup. I used to frequent this Dairy Queen when I was much younger maybe high school so that's a couple decades ago. I recalled that this I always looked forward to this DQ especially during the holidays when they would sell or give away free glassware and things of that nature. I can't help but feel that Dairy Queen is not as good as it used to be, at least it isn't in my memories. The hamburger that I ordered felt lukewarm, and the other items did not come out to is hot. Mighty we also waited about 5 to 7 minutes for our food so one would think that the items would come out fresh and hot. The Burgers we're just okay nothing that I would recommend or come back specifically for again. The only real highlight is the pecan Sundae with the chocolate and caramel syrup. You now have to order this Sunday by adding toppings to it it used to be called a pecan mudslide but it is no longer on the menu. The outdoor play area for the kids it's very dirty gross and I doused my children with disinfectant when they exited the area. So all in all I would say it is a very average food establishment the dining area is okay and the play area is quite unacceptable really. I would not recommend when there are several other establishments locally that will fit the need if you want a hamburger and if you want ice cream not a bad joint. I think the only time I will come back is to see if they have glasses around Christmas time again because I always got a kick out of that when I...
Read moreBeen coming here weekly for the last few weeks with my daughter, and they have screwed up our order every single time, and in some cases, even screwed it up again after having it brought to their attention.
Update: As suggested by management, I've come back again since writing the above review to give them another chance. I'm actually shocked to say that they messed up my order yet again. And, top it off, they messed up the order a second time when I asked them to correct it. It's probably the third time that's happened in a row. It's almost inconceivable that a restaurant could be so consistently bad. The only reason I keep coming back is because my daughter likes it so much. In addition to the messed up orders, the kid's play area is absolutely disgusting. The same spilled ice cream has been on the ground by the door for months (if not longer). The tables are sticky with years of accumulated filth. One looks as if it's about to collapse, to the point that I won't let my kids go near it. Lord know what the inside of the play structure is like; I'm afraid to look. BOTH bathrooms were out of paper towels AND toilet paper. I had to go get my son napkins so he could wipe and dry his hands after washing them (at least there was soap). When ordering, two of the kitchen staff were having a vocal and completely inappropriate conversation about one of their co-workers. If the front of the house is this bad, what must it be like in the kitchen where your food is prepared? I'm revising my review from two...
