The Garden Room in Gig Harbor gets my highest recommendation. Shortly after moving into our new condo, my wife and I decided it was time for a furniture upgrade. After an extensive search, we finally just exactly what we wanted. We purchased two new leather recliners - one of them being electrically operated. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the controls for the chair shortly after we purchased it. After three unsuccessful attempts to repair the wiring problem we were concerned that we were going to be out of luck. And then the store owner, Christine, stepped in - in a really big way. She stood behind her company and the products they offer. After coordinating with the chair manufacturer, she put our fears and concerns to rest. One star is far too generous for this place! I bought costume gloves for an event, and weeks later when it came time to wear them, I discovered I was sold two right handed gloves. I took them back to this store and was asked when they were purchased and where was my receipt? I explained I didn’t keep the receipt as I hadn’t planned to return them, however, I don’t have two right hands and they are useless to me. I was told all sales are final! The gloves were in a sealed plastic wrapping and I couldn’t have seen the defect until they were opened. A store refusing to refund defective merchandise is nothing but a scam. I will never shop at this overpriced junk store again!! Save your money and shop where you get service, reasonable store policies, and respect for the customer. You won’t get that at the Garden...

I just love this store. It’s definitely an experience every time you walk through the doors. There is so much to look at and I’m always in awe of the creativity that goes into their displays. It’s all things Christmas right now so if you need some inspiration or finishing touches for your holiday decor, this is the place to go. I’ve bought numerous things over the years at this location and their previous location and they are my favorite pieces. I picked up just a couple small items today - some ribbon for my tree topper, a few hot chocolate packs and delicious chocolates for the kids for stocking/advent calendar stuffers, and a couple ornaments but will be back once I get out my Christmas decor out and figure out what else I might need.
