Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Gilbert

If I could give negative or zero stars, that would be my review rating. They failed to provide us with all items ordered and paid for. Unfortunately, we didn't realize we were missing a burger until we got home. After calling the store 4 times with no answer, they decided to answer and immediately hung up on the 5th call. So I drove back to the Carl's Jr. and instead of them being willing to provide a refund, and make up for their mistake, they only offered to make the burger if I still wanted it. The kid turned to the manager, or whatever she was, who came to the counter and was also unapologetic about their unwillingness to answer their phone and provide a refund. Having worked in the food service industry when I was a teenager, I was taught customer service skills and how to appropriately handle making things right with a customer who had a complaint or was unsatisfied with their food and/or service. Clearly Carl's Jr. is failing to train and instill these important skills in their employees. It's absurd that minimum wage is what it is now when quality and service has been flushed down the toilet where I think the burger they ended up bringing me came from, after they had my blood boiling from arguing with me over their lousy service and refusal to provide the refund I...

1st time eating at this establishment, my son is in town visiting and he and I decided to try out Carl's jr.. The drive thru was the only option so I couldn't base this review on the inside or get any pics. But the drive thru was very fast and efficient, as soon as you pull up your being asked for your order, speedy service. They're well mannered, pleasant and pays attention to the details of your order. When greeted at the window, again very pleasant energy with the willingness to make your visit a great one. Mask and gloves are worn to provide assurance of safety and cleanliness. Service with a smile ( although you can't see the smile) you know it's there!!! The food was fresh, warm, packaged neatly and overall a great 1st experience... my son loved the burger and fries and was surprised how big the medium drink was... I will definitely recommend this location specifically to anyone wanting a great tasting burger and fries at a fairly decent price, a lil higher than other burger joints but im not complaining because odd the quality of the service... keep up the...

Update - Owner replied to this post saying I should follow a link to contact them about my experience. Did this and they ghosted me. What a fantastic lack of accountability their franchises have.

I recently had an adventure at this restaurant that I can only describe as a comedy of errors. When I went to place my order, the lady behind the counter took half of it and then just… stopped. I thought maybe she was practicing her mime skills. After a brief intermission of silence, I finally said, "hello?" She replied with a classic, "just give me a minute, sir," as if I was interrupting her riveting conversation with a coworker about the weather.

Fast forward to my meal, and I was hit with the cold reality—literally. The fries were ice cold, like they’d just come back from a winter vacation, and the burger? Well, let’s just say it was as mediocre as a lukewarm cup of decaf coffee. Overall, I think I might have had a better meal at home—if I’d just heated up some leftovers! Here’s hoping they can find a way to juggle orders and keep the fries warm...
