This used to be my mom and Iās go-to Starbucks location in town, but over the past couple months they have been slowly going downhill. Iām assuming the issue is having employees that arenāt properly trained. They have gotten our orders wrong multiple times. Either the drink is made horribly wrong, the drink size we were given wasnāt what we ordered, or theyāll be out of an ingredient and donāt tell us when we order,but continue to hand us the drink which looks obviously wrong and they continue to not say a word. Today, we ordered 2 different drinks. I fell in love with the Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink but this location doesnāt seem to know how to make it 95% of the time. As you can see, it looks JUST like the Pink Drink my mom ordered and has no guava/passionfruit flavor(honestly, it basically has little to no flavor at all). I think they just made me a pink drink with no berries and lazily played it off. Or, they didnāt use enough guava juice and didnāt add the pineapple/ginger syrup. They look exactly the same. Iām also a barista who makes Starbucks branded drinks, so Iām just really disappointed in how this locationās employees are trained and how lazy they are. Communicate with your customers. Donāt know how to make something? Learn it, ask a coworker for help, find the recipe card and learn on the spot. Itās not hard! Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was about 7:15pm when we got there so fairly late for them, but with only one couple ahead of us (who had already ordered) it took over 15 minutes for us to get our drinks- a caramel frap and a water. Plus they were out of lids, which had to be pulled from the back, and spilled caramel all over the cup and tried to just wipe with a napkin. We said, hey we've waited long enough can you fix that so we don't get sticky stuff all over our hands and car? So they double cupped it with a half hearted apology.
There were at least 4 employees working at the time, didn't seem like there were any cars in the drivethru. Most of them seemed like they were way more focused on cleaning and putting chairs on top of tables than helping all of us waiting.
We were driving through from LA back to SF and we're glad for the available, clean bathrooms. However, at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf we stopped at this morning, there were over 20 people ordering and we got our 3 complicated drinks and snacks faster.
Cleaning can wait until the doors are locked. I do this drive frequently and won't be stopping at this...
