Kenny's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Glenarden

I called to place an order and was very disappointed with my experience my first mistake that I should have realized was that when I answer the phone someone picked it up said hello and placed the phone down meanwhile I can hear the background of the restaurant. When she finally came back to the phone she took my order and told me that it would be 45 minutes. At one hour my food has not arrived and I was told that it would be there in 10 minutes. At 15 minutes I call back for the second time to inquire about my order and no one answered the phone. I called several times and it went straight to voicemail. I had already paid over the phone so at this point I'm very upset. After an hour and 30 minutes my food finally arrives with some unprofessional man calling me on the phone telling me that my food is here. He did not apologize and I just thought it was very unprofessional that first they would keep me waiting so long, second that they just outright didn't answer the phones and my husband went up to the restaurant and there was not a soul in the place. Luckily he got home just in time to get the food from whoever this worthless driver was. I will never order from this place again this was my second experience and now my last. Obviously they do not value their customers and for some reason feel like people won't take their business elsewhere with their poor business ethics. Don't order...

Be careful when using a credit or debit card. I used a visa debit card to pay for my food and after the lady processed my charges, I decided that I wanted a soda. So, I grab a soda and asked her how much it is. She said $2. I gave her the same visa debit card and she swiped it. I should’ve checked my charges right then and there, but I’ve been here a few times and trusted the establishment. A couple days later I checked the charges on my account and saw that she charged me $2.25. I went back to the restaurant today and asked the price for the same soda. Again, I was told $2.00. I then asked why I was charged $2.25 a couple days ago. She said I was charged an extra 25 cents because I used a card to pay for the soda. Ultimately, after going back and forth, they offered me a free soda. I refused the soda and told them that they can’t just charge customers whatever they want without letting the customers know. We ordered our food at 1:25, provided the address for the delivery and was told that it would be 45 minutes. They called back at 3:00pm asking when we were going to pick up our food. We explained that we requested delivery, the lady went on to say that they thought we were picking up but the driver is on the way now. I called back to request some kind of compensation. I was told that they put an extra tea in the back because we had to wait so long because their extra driver did not come in. I explained that the fact their staff did not show up for work is not our fault and an ice team is not an acceptable compensation. She tried to say that the food was going to be hot and she already gave us a free tea but she also will add an egg roll.
