This is really about the service and atmorphere than about the food. I came in today Sat. 6/14/2025 around 1 PM. Ordered a personal pizza with peperoni, mushrooms and chopped garlic. As someone who managed Round Table gourmet pizza stores in Califronia years ago, I know that putting chopped garlin on top of the pizza it will burn in the oven. So when I orderdered, and this is the second time, I asked the young gal who took my order to please put the chopped garlic "under the cheese". I get my pizza and I see burnt garlic. I got up and just requested a refund becaue after managing restaurants I know what the cooks can do to the food when they are yelled at. An older dude who appeared to be the "manager" came out looking upset, overwhelmed and with an attitude as if "I was the problem" reversed the transaction, NO apology, with an attitude as if it was "me causing trouble" In my days as manager of one of the best gourmet pizza places in California, I would have first and formost apologize to the customer and offer to refund their money, offer to remake their order personally, or give them a coupon for the same value to any other location, so the cooks would not spit on the remake. But I guess they still need some training in how to be a real "professional manger" Mr. "manager' just because people don't look like you, doesnt' mean they don't have $$ and are trying to get anything orther than their food...
Read moreI’ve been to many Barro’s locations in the valley and always had great experiences. Because of that I felt confident choosing this location that I had never visited before for my child’s first birthday. The food at this location was disappointing. It lacked flavor and the veggie pizza we ordered contained pieces of ham. More disappointing than the food, this location does not have baby changing tables. When I asked to speak with a manager, he was cold and unapologetic. He blamed the building management company when I asked why they do not offer changing tables. When I insisted that something be done about it, he said he said it was out of his hands. Again, I insisted that he do something about it and he finally said he would pass that along, but he didn’t know if anything would be done. How does Barro’s expect to pass off as a family establishment without offering the most basic necessities to welcome small children in their restaurant? Do they expect me to change my child’s diaper on a dirty bathroom floor? Had I been met with even the smallest amount of empathy, I would consider returning. Instead my family will not be returning to this restaurant and we will think twice about visiting other locations. Learn from my mistake, don’t go here if you expect a suitable environment for young children. You may have to leave early like I did. This is not how I hoped to celebrate my child’s...
Read moreThis order was called in at 11:47am to be picked up at 5pm so I can grab it on my way in from work. I get there on time! Sophia checked the system and read 2 names that were not mine. second later she said we don't have the order. I gave her the name for the order, she said she doesnt have it. She asks who placed it? I tell her, again she says we dont have it. She asked what time it was placed I gave her that. Same response. She didn't even bother to PHYSICALLY look and just starred at me. I didn't want to be rude and ask her to JUST LOOK. Even tho I saw it there the whole time. So I had to go back to the car, call who placed it making me even later for work. When I came back in, she didn't even try to help after I told her ill be right back with more info. She knew I was running late for work, yet she continued to take every other customer without even acknowledging me. A manager finally came to the pick up line register and I received my order within 5 seconds. I explained the inconvenience. But he really didn't seem to care or offer anything for the 23 minute wait. Again this order was placed in the morning! My order shouldn't have been an issue, especially because it was there...
