I recently visited this new cafe in Glendale, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience from start to finish! I’m not usually a big coffee drinker, but their coffee was so good, I’m still craving it! It had this perfect balance of flavors that even a non-coffee person like me could appreciate. And the food? Absolutely delicious. I went with a group of friends, and we each tried something different, everyone loved what they got. There wasn’t a single complaint. But what really stood out was the staff. They were so friendly, helpful, and patient with us. We were a bit indecisive, and they walked us through the menu and gave great recommendations. It made the whole experience feel so personalized. The vibe of the place was also perfect for a chill hangout. It’s not easy to find a spot in Glendale where you can sit comfortably, relax, and have a good conversation, but this place nailed it. Take Away Cafe is a cute lil corner coffee shop nestled in the heart of Glendale. It’s located on E. Broadway where they serve breakfast, lunch, coffee, juices, smoothies and salad. I came as a first time customer on a sizzling late afternoon as I head on my way to HQ.

Interior was quaint and modest with a huge world map and roses as decoration. Atmosphere was relaxing. Perused their menu and decided to grab a classic Iced Latte. And it was simply bloody REFRESHING. It’s perfect on a very hot day. Male staff was cordial and professional; he offered a free cookie but I respectfully declined. They have rear parking lot and plenty of street metered parking as well. Service was spot on.

My girlfriends and I were looking for a brunch spot in Glendale and let me tell you, this is a hidden jem!! Every single detail was thought through… from the cutlery, to the ambience, to the music, and to the food presentation. The food. Ohhh my God, the food! I got the mushroom sandwich, and added a fried egg on top, which I highly recommend. It was amazing! The coffee came with an adorable heart decoration on top and it was delicious. And the star of the show (drumroll)… The Dubai chocolate pancake. It was incredible!!!! I don’t think I’ve had anything this yummy in LA before. Definitely a shareable size. Definitely worth the calories. I will be back for this...
