Came here on Monday October 18 after the Coyotes home opener. Arrived at the bar at 945 PM. Was told food is available. Sat and ordered a beer and a mixed drink. Asked for a water and a food menu. Food menu came and ordered the Roasted Cauliflower, Beastmode Bacon Burger and Chicken Avocado Club sandwich. Batneder came back a few minutes later, "sorry, no cauliflower" Ok, no big deal. We'll take the Korean Sticky Ribs. Bartender delivers beer and drink, no water. Bartender arrives appropriately 10 minutes later, "sorry no chicken" Us: "Excuse me, no chicken" Bartender: Yes, no chicken you can get the Parmesan Chicken, we just don't have chicken patties. Us: (puzzled look) No patties but you have chicken for parmesan? Bartender: Yes Us: Ok, we'll take the parmesan chicken Bartender: After consulting with someone else, wait, we have chicken patties just no bread for the sandwich. Us; (Again puzzled look) Uh ok we'll take the original order (chicken avocado club), no bread. And 2 waters please Bartender: Ok.
We look at each other like: WTAF!
Still no water.
10 minutes later, still no water, no appetizer.
10 minutes later, still no water no appetizer.
10 minutes later...
Meanwhile, 3 other tables come in and order food and receive said food, including... a Chicken sandwich with bread.
1030 PM (45 minutes after we arrived) I ask for the drink tab minus any food. Different bar tender (with a mask around his chin) says sure and brings tab to us. We explained why we're leaving without our food. He says (essentially) nothing I can do about it.
Um What??
Original bartender never checked on us once. We had to flag her down every time.
Manager comes over, basically apologizes (but doesn't comp 2 drinks)
We leave.
We got our water after 3 requests approximately 30 minutes after we ordered it.
Keep an eye on your bill, they sneak a suggested tip on there, If you sign it you've tipped without even knowing it (or double tipped) Shady service. I noticed after signing but thankfully before I submitted it and signed the other copy minus their "suggested tip". For the record I ALWAYS tip. Not this time. If you hire bar tenders that know what they're doing you wouldn't have to sneak tips the on bill.
Stay as far away as possible. Unbelievable...
Read moreSo, our rose parade plans changed, and we ended up staying in Phoenix for new year's eve. My other half came across an ad for an all you can eat dinner and games at Dave and Buster.
If you have been to DB, you know the type of games, but I bet that you didn't know what kind of thieves they are.
173.00 dollars was the package deal. Never mind that i just learned this on January 4th !!! So, i don't know about you, but if you are going to an event involving food, for 173.00 dollars, you probably would expect something out of this world dishes.... like lobster bisque, or steaks, prime ribs right ??? .... wrong !!!! Here is what these thieves did. They got a room about 25 x40, threw some table cloth on some tables, and brought out on those stainless tray that one would find at a wedding reception, or end of year party at your job, so you could bring the family to meet the boss.
So..., this was on the menu for 173 dollars !! Over cooked Kraft Mac and cheese. I think it was chicken covered in what I believe was Buffalo sauce on this Hawaiin square bread (because everyone likes spicy unknown meat), then they had some 3x3x2 cheeseburgers, that, by the time we got to them, it was already gone. Some greens for a salad. They also had a pasta dish that i would have given a rating of 4 on a scale of 20 !!. And last they had some Quesadilles, that made Taco Bell a 5 stars restaurant in the Michelin guide !! Literally two tortillas with some kraft cheddar that must of been close to its due date meeting with the trash !! It was absolutely, undeniably one of the rip off of the year. I will never set foot in this place again, and to those who have never been there, save your money and go to Disney or Vegas. As for us , never again!!
To the owner : Don't ask me to send my experience to your customer relations. If you really want to do the right thing. you will find the reservation...
Read morethe WORST service experience i've ever had. came in on a saturday night around 12:15 ish knowing they close at 1am. sat down at a table and waited for a server which took about 10 minutes but that's to be expected. after we finally get our server she was friendly and told us to take our time deciding. a minute later she comes back and says that we actually need to rush our order since they were closing the kitchen soon. we placed our order and waited for our food, and it finally came out around 12:50. not even a few bites in at 12:55 they make an announcement that they are closed, the server comes up to us and tells us that we can have 10 minutes to eat and then we need to leave. already, that's very unprofessional and rude especially as it wasn't even 1 yet. we told her that's fine and a minute later another server comes up to us and tells us they are closed and we have to leave. we told her that the previous server gave us 10 minutes to eat and she said "that girl is training and doesn't know what she's talking about" and proceeded to tell us they are closed and we need to leave, she leaves comes back with boxes and the electric payment. at this time it is 12:59. we hadn't even eaten half of our food, which by the way was not even good quality, the wings were cold and so were the fries. we should have been informed of how much of a rush we would be in the moment we sat down. every restaurant has a policy of giving customers full service even if they are there past closing time. yes dave and busters is not just a restaurant, but they shouldn't offer that service if they cannot provide it properly. their staff is clearly not prepared for the service industry. i know this as i have been in the restaurant industry for almost 2 1/2 years now. very unhappy with this experience, truly so unprofessional and rude. took my money and tip and...
