The only time I purchased food here, it was super expensive, not a fair price at all considering the quality of the pizza overall (2 pizzas for around $50). After spending that much money I would have expected to enjoy the pizza at least; bad idea. My friend asked for an avocado pizza that she did not like at all, and I asked for some pizza where the “vegan cheese” tasted like sour cream. It was almost a joke to me that these expensive pizzas would taste so bad. We ended up throwing them away and we stopped eating them because it just didn’t feel right, so minutes after we had a bad stomach pain that lasted until next day. It was probably the worst experience I’ve had when it comes to buying food. They have the BEST gluten free pizza I have EVER eaten! And they have gf calzones! It’s been 15 years since I had one, but I vividly remember what the gluten filled ones tasted like. Pizza Boy’s is the best calzone I’ve had hands down. And their gf garlic knots are amazing. Somehow they’re even better cold? I am a very sensitive celiac sufferer and if there is even a hint of gluten I am violently ill within 20 minutes. I had ZERO reaction! That alone is worth any price to me. Is the pizza a bit spendy? I have been buying pizza from Pizza Boy since 1993, and have seen the owner change a few times since then. While it was good in the past, neither the pizza nor the service have been as good before as under the current owners. The food is absolutely excellent, and so is the service. Today I asked for a heart-shaped pizza with half pepperoni and half pesto. They made a mistake and made it round and not heart-shaped. They corrected the mistake quickly and gave me a heart-shaped one I had paid for and the round one for free, as a way of making up for the mistake.
