I'm really happy to say that the service and speed of this restaurant improved so much from previous visits. I was craving ramen, I knew this place had delicious food, so I thought I would give it a go expecting an only ok service.

First things first, the parking in this area is terrible. Their lot is small and the streets are usually difficult because you're in a commercial/residential area. By the time this place opens, street sweeping times should be done, but a lot of dumpsters are still in the way, so good luck on that part, but it is what it is in the area.

I was surprised it was as empty as it was when I got there at 12:30 on a Tuesday because this place is usually packed! The only thing I would say be careful for is if you get hot easily, don't sit next to the glass divider because they boil the ramen right behind it and if it's a hot day, that corner can be really uncomfortable. Also, the tables are shared, so there's a chance that you're going to sit next to a stranger if it's busy. If you're an introvert, to-go is a great option because they pack their food in a way that your ramen won't get soggy in broth and sides are individually boxed.

They gave me a bowl of tsukemono (I believe it's house made pickled cabbage, but I didn't confirm). It's sour, bitter, crunchy...it's hard to describe, but give it a taste. I personally love it, my friend, not at all. I ordered the gyoza (which is always cooked to perfection) and has the best dipping sauce! The spam musubi, which is spam musubi. They don't go crazy on sauce or anything fancy which I love; keep it classic. I also ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen and I always get the spicy on the side because it really builds up the more you eat. (It's just a way for me to control the flavor and build up of spiciness). In the tonkatsu ramen, they give a generous amount of pork and toppings. They have a lot of additional toppings you can add.

On your table, you'll also find a tray that has other ingredients for toppings such as chili, oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce and what I think is white pepper (unsure).

Service was really quick and they had great customer service. If you're going to take food to go, make sure you're really specific on how many...

Here’s my first and last experience at this place. I walked in with my 9 year old son and asked for a menu. Called my wife to discuss what we would eat while looking at the menu. While I was on the phone a guy comes up to me and asked me if I was going to order. I had to say “excuse me I’m on the phone” and I could hear the guy by the cook (which I can only assume was a manager of some type) asking if I was going to order or not. Hearing him say that as I turned around walked up look at him and of course I responded; “yes, I wasn’t sure what’s the rush was for”. My phone call was 4 mins to be exact. They brought my order out quick but when I got home well… you can look at the photo yourself. I might have just ordered a Maruchan cup of noodle compared to the bowls they served being there. I called to asked about that and it’s funny how I didn’t have to explain much for him to have an excuse ready that they give 12oz of broth the size of a soda can. Not to mention right after he said you can come see for yourself, is when he hung up on me. I called back hoping to get the guy again but now the register girl answers. Had to remind her that it was a pretty terrible experience being there the first time and I was going to leave this review for it. That’s near $20 for ramen for you here I don’t know you tell me if this is right!? Parking is terrible by the way...

Me and my 4 colleagues from work went here for the first and last time tonight. This is what happened: the waitress was nice and took our order politely and helpful the Garlic edamame were really good I asked for a vegetarian version of the truffle ramen and if it’s possible to substitute the meat with an egg. No, that’s not possible. The egg is extra. So I’m paying 14,95$ for dish that includes pork belly or chicken - that I’m not getting - and have to pay extra for an egg. Wow. the egg had still egg shell on it they forgot my colleagues rice dish the ramen were mediocre the bill came and they told us we can’t split it. We are 5 people and we can’t split the bill? None of us had cash and they can only take 2- maybe 3 cards max. Just ridiculous. If only one of those things happen tonight we would have let it slide, but all of...

Walked into this place a few months ago right before they closed and had the most amazing crispy but melt in your mouth pork belly ramen ever! Ever since than all the ramen places I have been too I have compared them to the pork belly I had here. So finally was in Glendale and stopped by for a quick bite. They were busy but they had room at the community table, ordered the garlic edamame and pork belly ramen. It was just as good as I remembered. The pork belly was just the right crispy. The broth was rish and flavorful served with the typical ramen sides. Will always go out of my way to eat here when i'm in Glendale.
