heytea (Glendale) — Restaurant in Glendale

I think trying viral foods or drinks after they're viral can really let you know if they are actually good or not. So I finally went to the infamous HEYTEA at their newest location in Glendale Galleria.

Mango grapefruit boom. Ok this is the one drink that everyone says you MUST get and I finally understand the hype.

And apparently they have a drink that's customized by Lisa of Blackpink??! It's the Coconut matcha bobo and, ugh, it's almost as beautiful as the queen herself.

But the Cloud crisp grape is probably my favorite because of how unique it is. Never knew they could make grape into a boba drink, and love the bite-size pieces of crunchy grape!

Located on level 1 at Glendale Galleria Shopping Center, right next to the Target entrance. Park in Parking Garage A for the closest access.

Modern interior design, but not very thoughtfully designed as it’s impossible to read any lettering on the screens as the fonts are tiny with dim lighting. Also, it would help if customers have access to menu BEFORE they get to the front of the line so that they are ready to order.

I highly recommend the Crisp Grape Boom ($7.49). Tasted like grape slushy with crushed real grapes. Very refreshing and tasted fresh.

Parking is free inside the Glendale Galleria...

My new fave boba spot! Tried the Matcha Coconut Cloud Blue (left) and Mango Coconut Blue (right) both were so good but the mango stole the show! Super yummy, not too sweet, and they look just as good as they taste.

The service was excellent. Arthur the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

Everything was all around great, and I’ll definitely be coming...
