Tavern on Brand — Restaurant in Glendale

This is a fun, intimate place to have a great time. I haven never been here before, and its my first time, but I've always wanted to try it since it is surrounded by other familiar establishments.

Parking is a little tight unless youre okay with using valet from the neighboring restaurants, but in a radius of about 2 blocks, there are parking lots and structures pretty much everywhere - its just a matter of how much you want to walk, but if you park along brand, the parking cutoff with the meters is 10pm, after that, the meters are off.

Inside, accompanied by a party of over 20 people, Vahe and Cat did a great job with keeping our table clean and busy while also maintaining a full glass. Besides the service being on-deck, their starters plate was delicious (we only did starters). Their mozzarella sticks are very cheesy and their wings are really pumped with sauce. I love their mushrooms fries, and honestly, i just really went through their appetizer menu.

Music was moderate where you can still chat with your companions, and the crowd is also very proper where you wont have to worry about it being too rowdy or crowded. Its really just a cool place to chill and relax, have a nice drink with some food...

So we came during happy hour and were excited for the deals and options they had. We sat down and the atmosphere was really fun with good music. About 20 minutes in, we still hadn’t been checked on, so we flagged down the server who seemed annoyed that we waved at her. We put in our order for drinks, which took about 20 minutes when there was only us and two other tables, and we were never checked on again. We went up to the bar for our second round after an hour of no service and asked for a side of fries. Again, they were not at all busy, and this round took almost 30 minutes. The server came by with the fries and we said thank you, then she threw them on the table and walked away without a word. Overall, atmosphere was fun, service was incredibly disappointing, and the food was ok. I would have been more ok with the slow service if it was busy, but everyone around us was getting service except for a few tables with the same issue we had. It seemed like the server only focused on parties of more than two and left the rest of us...

Past by the place several times never gave it chance, but I am happy to my surprise that I did.

There is a sign that says please wait to be seated but not much help because they are so busy most of the time. I would definitely recommend going here at an off time when not busy, so you can really enjoy some quiet time.

The food is on point, and NO DOUBT ABOUT! I can't help myself getting the same thing, which is the burger they offer. The meat is made to! I order in-house no frozen patties. You can get it cooked just the way you want it is so juicy and has a soul. In fact I went there 3 times in 1 week and had the same thing. The drinks are also on point; there is no water down drinks with great prices. My party ordered other items off the menu as well, and food was equally good.

The service was amazing, and the staff was very Acknowledgeable about the items place serving.

I will definitely keep going back and maybe try...
