Love the coffee, not corporate office. Firstly, you can not talk to a live person. Phone system gives you the run around and eventually tells you to leave a message and they will get back to you. Lol! Secondly, they rip you off with your points and blame a glitch in the system. Make sure you get a receipt so you can try and get your points through corporate which is online only. Lol! Thirdly, I discovered that the company sold out to foreign investors in 2019 and now I understand why customer service sucks. It's definitely not the same company I remember. Another American company destroyed by greedy foreign money grabbers. Final nail in the coffin, received email letting me know that I am one of 60 people who won free regular cup of coffee everyday for the rest of the year only to find out that it's a glitch in the system and I am not. Nobody has won and the company will be sending an email to people that it's a glitch. I am so disappointed and done with Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! Save your money and make coffee at home. These foreign investors come here and buy up wonderful institutions and destroy them by abandoning the policies and practices that made them successful and instituting their business practices in the name of higher profits resulting in poor customer service...
Read moreHad a very negative experience Friday after ordering coffee and food. Staff do not smile and welcome the customers. Just a regular coffee came after 10 minutes and the young guy said they don't have the croissant we ordered after 10 minutes without even saying sorry. The coffee came cold and when I told another girl who work there, she seemed annoyed then turned and said "will take 8 minutes" while walking away. I try not to go there because of similar experience I had in the past. The coffee was cold last time I visited there also and same kind of attitude staff showed without any apologies. It's the management issue and lack of training I believe. I own businesses and if my employees behaved in such a manner, he or she would be immediately disciplined, needlessto say. Read morePretty good staff. It's a young staff (they had the best staff pre-pandemic) and depending on who the shift lead is, service can vary. Sometimes when they are busy with drive-thru orders they will just straight up ignore customers at the counter, but they're very apologetic. It's more lack of training than apathy. Sweet kids. The drinks are good, food is alright, sometimes the temperature of food can vary too hot or too cold, though.
The biggest bummer is that half of the outlets in the store do not work at all (the staff says they have no control over the electricity in the store, which seems odd)
The wifi can just turn off randomly for hours as well. So not the best place to go to do work.
