This was our first experience here as a family starting as entering into the restaurant the host communicated that there is certain people here and did a lot of name calling in Spanish little did they know that Spanish is my native language so I understood every word next we got to a table it was dirty filled with employees phones paperwork rice on the seats my husband ask for the table to be cleaned rather them do that they wanted to sit us at a different table where everything was filthy I just nicely asked the waitress to wipe down the original seat at the table we going to sit at from the beginning after we got out chips and dip that they serve everyone before ordering we ordered our food everyone food seemed fine but mine I order fajitas el pastor it appeared to taste well but it taste like perfume my husband tried it and could not stomach it at all after still trying to make the night decent because this was our child first time there and we went to celebrate a special day for our child we still decided to order our child the fried ice cream the dishes to but the ice cream in for everyone to share and the utensils were not cleaned as if someone just ate off them with the spoons having chocolate all over it the entire time we dined there was not check ups to see if we need anything no drink refills only the check when she seen the plates were towards the end of the table while watching a few of our neighbors being attended to several times after their food arrived after all me and my family experienced because I somewhat understand the restaurant business we still tipped but this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had we will never eat there again nor recommend it to our worst enemies all the employees need to realize that the Spanish language it’s not a secret🤢🤮😪( the picture that is posted is the only picture that was worth taking everything else looked...
Read moreThis place was Horrible. I go to the El Paso in Slidell, Louisiana and it’s EXTREMELY GOOD. When we pulled up it was right at dark and no lights were on. The El Paso road sign and even the OPEN sign was off. The place looked closed. We walked in I asked for the manager to let him know to turn the lights on. The guy at the desk told me he was the Manager. I told him that the lights were off and he told me that he needed a piece from Home Depot (Which is right across the street) to get them back on. He didn’t seem to concerned about what I had to say. So we sat down, I brought my wife to eat what I eat like 3 nights a week at the Slidell location. We ordered drinks and they were very poorly poured. Then the food came out and it looked nothing like at the other location. The food was horrible. It tasted and looked like they just poured a can of sauce on top of the food. I told the manager when I was leaving that the food tasted different then the other location (trying to be nice and not be rude) and he told me they have different menus. I laughed and told him that they are exactly the same menus. This guy either doesn’t care or doesn’t understand. I will NEVER go back to this location in Gonzales. If you ever have the opportunity to visit the Slidell location please go. It is the best service and food I have ever had. I really wish a higher up manager or the owner would PM me or contact me...
Read morePlaced a pickup order over the phone. Everything was fine till I arrived to pickup my order. I walked in and was barely acknowledged by the hostess. I stood there for 5 min before someone asked what I needed..by then a line had formed at the hostess desk and I think that’s what caught the waitress’s attention…mind you she also initially asked the people behind me who came in a full 5 min after. I had to speak up and tell her I was there first and had been waiting. I told her I was there for pickup. Food had been sitting on the desk and she just handed me the food and said someone would check me out. More food came out and she handed food to another lady who waited with me to be checked out. We stood there another 5 min..waiting for host to come back and check us out. Eventually the lady walked out without even paying. After another 10 min another couple walked up complaining they hadn’t received their check after dining and had been waiting a while. Guess this place doesn’t like to collect their money cause we could have easily all walked out like the other customer. They eventually sent the host up there to collect payment..I think one of their waitresses overheard us upset and threatening to walk out if wry weren’t serviced soon. Terrible customer service..and all that wait for subpar food and soggy tacos....
