Wendy's — Restaurant in Gonzales

One star because you have to press one to start reviewing. Wendy's needs to change their name to. Wendy's Dave's dump. Should have negative stars as an option. If you want medium well burgers without even asking for it ,this is the place for you. This wendys gives you multiple experiences at one stop. Junk yard experience,because in the parking lot, there was a car on each side of the building with flat tiers, and you could tell they had been there for some time. They also seem to be anti pressure washers .The concrete outside clearly has never ever been sprayed down. You'll get an Ice skating experience in the dining room. I'm guessing they mop with the same oil used to cook with. I should have told my mom let's go we can't go here...but My 75 year old mother and I were at the outlet mall all day, and she needed to eat. This Wendy's was right there, and she hadn't had Wendy's in a while ,and being i don't see her often, she wanted today to be the day she had Wendy's. She was a little hesitant after seeing the parking lot but was very hungry. So we go into order, and after we order and get to the drink part then the girl informs us that they only have lemonade or frosty. They had the drink machine where you press the buttons and all the flavors come out of the one spot... but it was broken. The lemonade had less than an inch of lemonade in it. And then there was some pinkish orange liquid next to that and then a brownish orange liquid.. she didn't explain what those two options were, but they clearly weren't lemonade. Water wasn't even offered. We went with frosty. Because she's 75and I'm not going to tell her what to do. In my head, I was ready to leave, but my mom really wanted a hamburger and fries. Mind you, she is a diabetic and normally gets unsweet tea or water. But all they had were suger drink and ice cream . Pretty pathetic that they didn't have water to offer. With one look around the empty ice skating dining room rink, we decided to eat in the car. 10 min. Wait, but at least that meant hot French fries. We were talking and should have looked at Burger after the first bite..I've eaten enough wendys after late nights to know not to expect a hot burger anymore .. but i should have looked ... because when i finally looked at it with about half a burger left, it was medium well. Definitely didn't ask me what temp I'd like my burger cooked, so I don't know why it was still pink . My mom had already finished hers like a hungry lioness. So I hid my discovery from her and said I was full that I'd go throw out our trash inside. We didn't even eat the frosties because they smelled weird .

After this, I will definitely kill over and die before I ever spend my money on Wendy's food ever again. Seems to be the thing at all wendys now . Cold food , wrong orders,long time for orders, and clearly anyone can work there as long as you can push buttons. After letting the manager, who was now sitting at one of the tables, know about the raw hamburger, he just said "okay I'll let them know." No sorry or even care . basically, just an okay now Please leave so we can get back to doing nothing. It's sad because at one time Wendy's was...

After waiting approx 10mins in the drive-thru I make it to the window. I hand my card to the manager (red shirt) to ring me up while others hand me food/drinks, continue to wait for my card as the manager accuses another of letting someone leave without their card, my card which was still in her hand. It was busy so I get it. Pull into the parking lot to eat and of course my Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is dressed despite telling them I wanted it plain. No problem I guess, I'll just walk-in now to exchange. I hand my burger over to gentleman at the counter and verify it needs to be plain two times. After 3 others place their orders, get their food, and sit down to eat I had yet to receive my burger I ordered 30mins ago. Instead of causing a scene I just walked-out to my now cold fries and go for my straw to drink my watered-down coke and well...no straw.

Look, I get good help is hard to find and everyone was in rush mode, but I honestly would've given you my $4.xx to not have had one of the worse customer service...

I’m at Wendy’s almost everyday with no complaints, but for the last month or so every order I get is either wrong or missing something. Today my order was the Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger, Large drink and Large Fries. What I received was a double cheeseburger, Med Fries and Med Drink although I was charged for the Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger. I’m all for giving people a second chance at life. I was always taught no matter what your job duties are be the best at it. There’s never receipts and with these new faces I see that they hardly ever have gloves on. I witnessed one of the employees putting his hand in my cup before he filled it, I didn’t say anything just took it and threw it away. Not all employees are rude but the rude ones make it bad for the employees with good customer service. #y'all...
