I love the Philly cheese potato boat if that's what it's called. The price is very reasonable. You have to remember to factor in the work that goes into creating this pineapple boat and the stuffed potato. The appearance is so delicious that you sometimes have to just step back and take it all in before you can even dive in. The flavors are very bold and amazing. I tried several dishes and have enjoyed each and every one of them. This is what I consider to be my treat meal, it's very rewarding. They have banana pudding and it's not the pudding it's the baked banana pudding the one that I love. The drink that's called Mississippi mud is so yummy that that's a must. I sometime order that first so I don't forget to get that drink. Let's speak on customer service. The gentleman at the counter at the register he always has a very warm and welcoming smile Make you so happy that you are there and ready to eat a great meal. The ladies that work in the kitchen they also take the time to acknowledge the customers. I purchased one of the pineapple boats and the chef she delivered it to the counter. I felt her being very pleased in her work which made me take pleasure in her work it was very beautiful and yes it tasted so good. If you love baked potatoes this is the place. Five stars all the way across. Thanks for a wonderful experience each and every time I get a...
Read moreThe food at One Spunky Spud is fantastic! We arrived around 4pm and were greeted by Rudy. She was very friendly. We ordered kool-aid and Mississippi mud fruit tea for our drinks. Kool-aid was great but the fruit tea surprised me. Definitely try it when you visit.
The wait for our order wasn't very long. We tried the taco potato and cheesey broccoli chicken potato with banana pudding for desert. Everything we had was delicious. I really liked the banana pudding.
Really liked the size of the potatoes. Taco meat had a nice flavor, but the cheesey chicken broccoli is outstanding. Really nice seasoning on the chicken with a generous portion.
The only bad thing I can mention is the location. Rivergate mall has become a ghost town. The food court was a cemetery when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. When I walked up to grab our order the cook came from the back and told Rudy that we were the last order for the day. Their sign said they close at 9pm and they were so slow the manager allowed them to close 4 hours early.
We did see 1 couple walk up and attempt to order after they closed but we had been there nearly an hour at that point and nobody was stopping by so I understand cutting payroll down when you're not busy. Support One Spunky Spud. The food...
Read moreWorst service I’ve experienced. We got there took a few minutes to decide on the menu. Went up to the guy sitting at the cashier stand. Not a single “hi” “hello” “what can I get for you.” So ofc I say “Hi!” the guy just stares doesn’t reply back. He just sits there in silence, so we start ordering. I’m pretty sure I paid extra for something sour cream and didn’t get it. After ordering we went to the restroom and a vending machine. We quickly came back and stood in front of the place waiting for our order. After maybe 10 minutes we decide to sit instead that’s when the guy that’s been there calls our order is ready. The plates had been sitting on the back table meaning they had been ready for idk how long. The food didn’t look hot at all/ or that it just came out. I wonder why he didn’t give it to us as we stood right in front of the place. It wasn’t full or busy either. Anyways, it’s a little too pricey for what it is in my opinion. It was 3 potatoes for $50. The alfredo one was way too salty, the others ones were okay. The broccoli pieces are too big. Overall, I feel like I could have gotten a better meal with those $50. I made the hour drive to try this place and will not be...
