I'm usually not overly displeased or care too much if my order is a little messed up, but I went to McDonald's with my friends and we did two separate orders in the drive thru. Which usually isn't too much to ask for right? First when the cashier was taking our order and repeating it back to us to make sure it was right she kept on listing everything all out of order in a severely confusing way like she didn't understand it all. Then when we got to the window we reaffirmed that the orders were right and she acted like she had an attitude that we were making sure our orders were right. Then when we drove to the second window there were two girls and they both just abruptly handed us only the two drinks for the first order and told us to park to the side for the rest of our stuff which was okay. The service wasn't great but it wasn't so bad to be noted... Yet. Then when one of the other employees came out with our food she only brought one bag with only the first order. Then we told her we had a second one she just looked at us in total confusion and paused for several moments. So we asked her again if they were bringing our second order and instead of saying anything or even at least just expressing to us that she didn't know about our second order she just continued to stare and then walked away without a single word. And, I am not making this up. She literally did this and it was so strange and very rude. Then after she walked away we just decided to walk inside because we were so confused and at this point we just needed to do something to get our food since no one was being cooperative or helpful in the slightest bit. When we got inside and asked about our second order they had apparently given our second order to the customer who had been behind our car so they had to remake it, but before we had came in no one had known about that or at least confessed to it so if we hadn't came inside and spoken to the manager our second order would have never been delivered. And, honestly I wouldn't have ever written such a long review about how bad this experience was because I know mistakes happen and I'm not that picky, but these people were so rude and uncooperative. Literally this whole McDonald's besides the manager and the cashier we talked to inside were so...
Read moreWorst service I have ever received at a McDonald's. Went through the drive through and ordered a small coffee. When I got to the first window to pay, I paid the cashier, but instead of giving me a receipt, she just closed the window in my face. I took this to mean I should go ahead and pull forward to get my coffee at the 2nd window. Except when I arrived at the 2nd window, they had no record of my order, and proceeded to ask if I had a receipt. I told them that the girl didn't give me one, and then recited to them exactly what I had given the cashier (how many quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies etc..) to pay for the coffee. I waited for about 5mins. at the window, and then decided to go inside and ask for a manager. Instead of giving me the coffee I PAID for, the manager then proceeded to argue with me over a $1 cup of coffee, in front of other customers inside the restaurant. I asked the manager exactly how hard was it for their cashiers to remember a person who was literally at their window less than 5mins. ago, and how I was able to recite the exact money I used to pay for the coffee, and why instead of saying "Thank You" or handing me a receipt, their cashier thought it was appropriate to take my money and close the window in my face? Needless to say, I will not be visiting this particular McD's again. I can't believe the lack of customer service of this crew, the gall of the sh*tty manager to accuse me of lying about a $1 cup of coffee, and the fact that I had to wait almost 30mins. to get the coffee, but only after repeatedly trying to prove that I had, in fact, paid for the item. While normally I wouldn't sweat a $1 loss, being accused of being a liar in front of a restaurant full of people motivated me to get what I paid for, even if it meant having to wait for them to count the register of the cashier who conveniently didn't "remember" seeing me at her window just moments before. WORST...
Read moreDrive through. Ordered 4 hash browns, 3 McDoubles, a Southwest chicken salad, and 2 drinks. Pay at window 1. Window 2: please pull up, it's going to be several minutes on your order ( I hate this ). Ok, not the young lady's fault. I pull into the drive through parking space ( note the absurdity of the concept ). 4 minutes later, young woman brings out my order...allegedly. Missing: 2 hasbrowns and both sodas. I go back into the store and bring my receipt. It's chaos inside. There are plenty of employees present, but several are hanging out by the front counter unoccupied or on break. One older employee is talking on her cell phone and walks past me behind the counter without ending her call or acknowledging any customers or colleagues. I tell the young woman who brought out the deficient order that several items are missing and show her the receipt. I also say that I hate being asked to pull forward for this very reason. There are no hash browns ready, inexplicably ( I just waited 4 minutes to have them cooked in the first place ). I tell them if they'd like, just give me a small fry and I'll get out of their hair. The kids wouldn't have cared. Instead, I wait through another fry cycle for hashbrowns. Finally, I get the sodas and the 2 remaining hashbrowns. 15 minutes after placing my order in the drive through lane, I exit the restaurant with my completed order and go to the car where I eat my cold food and distribute the sodas and hashbrowns to my waiting children. On the scale of global suffering, this doesn't register at all. On the scale of acceptable customer service, this registers as pure indifference. I wonder how long we're going to put up with this before we all agree that the line at Chick fil A is...
