This was my first visit, and I decided to order through the app. I tasted each beverage as I checked my order. The lavazza coffee caramel coconut latte was delicious! The latte was smooth and creamy. The combination of caramel and coconut mixed perfectly together. I wasn’t a fan of the lavender matcha frappe. The frappe was good but the lavender and matcha weren’t strong enough. As I was walking through the establishment, I noticed there were additional items that weren’t included on the app. I decided to make a second purchase and got some items free with my app points. The lavazza caramel coconut latte was my favorite item out of the 29. In my opinion that says a lot.
When it comes to the desserts I recommend the coffee croissant doughnut, ganache, mocha, and tiramisu cake slices. The sweet rice donut was something different. This was my first time trying sweet red bean paste. Not an item I would purchase again, but worth trying once. All the other desserts were ok, but nothing stood out.
When it comes to the savory items I enjoyed the crab meat croquette. It had a decent amount of flavorful crab, potatoes, and vegetables on the inside. The crispy panko made the croquette an award winner. The hot dog roll was coated with crispy panko and topped with ketchup and mustard. A party tray of these would be great for game night.
The downside to my experience is I didn’t enjoy most of my order. This has nothing to do with the quality of the items. My taste buds weren’t impressed by most of the products. Three customers recommended I try another bakery nearby whose products and prices are better. I asked one person why are you here and not at the other bakery? The answer was paris baguette has certain products she enjoys that the other bakery doesn’t carry. I’ve never been to the bakery mentioned but I agree paris baguette has items I will return for. Furthermore, the presentation of their products was exceptional.
At the end of the day, I want to enjoy what I spend my time and money on. If I’m in the area I would go back for the savory items, coffee, and new items. I like the overall interior and layout of the store. The establishment was clean, and service was good. Read moreCome during the morning hours so all their baked goods are warm, fresh, and plentiful. During the evening hours, most of their items are already sold out. Everything is expensive, more so than 85 Degrees in Carrolton. The layout and service style is similar to 85 Degrees where there are trays, boxes, tongs, and wax paper to take whatever good you would like to purchase, afterwards you go to the cash register to place your order where you can also order drinks or cakes (whole or sliced). They do have a rewards system where you create an account on their app and scan in the QR code generated on your receipt to earn points towards a free item. So far, everything I've had here was delicious. I wish they weren't so expensive so I could purchase more but alas, here are my orders and reviews of each:
-Coconut mochi donut: Delicious. Their mochi is better than Fat Straws--the donut is less greasy and their dough is more dense. Even at 6pm after they've been outside on the shelves for awhile, they tasted great. There's a light glaze covering the top of the mochi and has delicate, tiny, coconut flakes sitting on top.
-Peppermint Chocolate Mochi Donut: Out of the two donuts, hands down the best. The chocolate glaze they put on top of it makes it stand out. On top of the already delicious donut batter making it taste chewy and airy, it has a really smooth and rich chocolate coating that tastes like Lindt or Godiva chocolate. There is peppermint drizzle sitting on top of the donut but it's barely noticeable. It might as well just be called a chocolate mochi.
-Rainbow Cake Slice: Pretty good. Each color of the rainbow cake has its own flavor, eg: orange slice tastes like orange, yellow tastes like lemon, etc. The cake is well moisturized without it being too moist. The frosting isn't too sugary like traditional American cakes, it has a light, airy, and slightly sweet taste like whipped cream. Portion size is average, not too big and not too small.
-Fruit Bite: I got a large fruit bite with assorted fruits on top of a sweet custard cream. The breading of the bite was delicious. It was light, flaky, and buttery. The sweet custard cream was light, slightly sweet, and had a nice balancing taste to the overall bite. The fruits on top where fresh fruits. None of them tasted unripe, they were all cut at their best.
-Curry bread: Just as it sounds like--savory and delectable. The curry taste was not overwhelming. There was no meat inside the curry. The curry itself was full of taste without being too mild or too spicy. The bread was a vehicle for its center.
-Milk bread: Small loaf of bread glazed with what looks like condensed milk. It was delicious. The bread itself was slightly dense and lightly sweetened. The condensed milk was not too overbearing or sweet. In fact, I did not get that too sweet aftertaste that you normally get after eating...
Read moreRead moreMY YOUTUBE VIDEO DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE. I've been watching Korean bakery videos on YouTube for years. Never thought I'd be able to experience it here in America but here i am, living the dream. Ha! Back again. It's September 2025. Man oh man. I'm so glad I don't live near this place. I'd be coming too often. And as I mentioned before things are pricey and so because almost everything looks so good here you're going to want more than one and that adds up. 1st up i finally got my blueberry cream brioche. This was a let down. The blueberries and cream... great but the brioche didn't seem fresh at all. Seemed like the brioche was from another day. It was dry. I give it a 3/5. Now the stars for me that day were the Dubai chocolate mochi donut. Oh em gee. Sooooo good. My first time having a mochi donut. The chewy sort of gummy pillowy texture is amazzzzing. the pistachio and chocolate amazzzzing and the other thing I had was a biscoff cream donut. Prefect creamy goodness. So soft. So fresh. The little biscoff cookie on top was so soft too. Loved that. Oh em gee!!!! If you like biscoff then come get you one before the state makes it illegal for being too good. This visit, no complaints on sweetness this time. Everything was perfectly sweetened. So yea three items this day for sixteen dollars. Ouch! But so good! Previous review- Mom and i came after the kicking crab next door. Very nice atmosphere. Clean and welcoming. Quick friendly service. All of the food items so perfectly displayed, all of them looking so lovely. As I browsed they all politely and ever so sweetly were whispering to take them home because they taste so good. Ha! I wanted one of everything. oh em gee. Settled on the blueberry chiffon and strawberry pistachio cake slices. These are very lightly sweetened whip cream frosting type of cakes. I wished they were just a bit more sweeter! BUT I'll be back to try other things. I have no choice with all the sweet nothings being whispered at me. 😊 I think on the next visit my first pick will be the blueberry cream brioche. I should've went with my first mind and got it instead. Things pricey here fyi. Im sure ingredients are a factor plus the slices were packaged up so nicely, an edible chocolate coin tops each cake, coupled with the over all atmosphere so I'm...
