My wife and I decided to go on our first "late" date night in a year (we're usually in bed by 9 😅) because we discovered someone I know (and have been waiting to see perform live for almost two years) was playing here. So we get ready and drive the hour into town, excited for the evening and eager to check out a new venue (we're foodies and love to discover new tasty kitchens). After dealing with sketchy activity in their incredibly dark parking lot, we finally find a parking space close enough to a light to give us some semblance of security. Then we get to the door, and the overzealous cussword guarding the threshold refuses us entry because apparently my ID expired on my birthday a couple of weeks ago (which was news to me). Mind you, I'm nearly 40 years old with a grey beard who hasn't been ID'd in years, and my ID is barely expired (still works for TSA but not for this "fine" establishment 🙄). I wasn't even drinking tonight, as my wife doesn't drive - I was only interested in watching the entertainment and checking out an appetizer, but that mattered not. Now, I understand trying to prevent underage drinking, but I am very obviously well over the drinking age. So unfortunately I was unable to experience anything this place had to offer save the bitter disappointment from the dunce at the door for ruining our evening and wasting several hours of our time (not to mention the gas money lost in this misadventure). I can tell you this much, I'm old enough to remember when people used common sense and their own better judgement instead of mindlessly obeying what a little machine tells them; just because my ID expired (ie; late paying the governments unconstitutional fee to exist in society) a couple weeks ago doesn't mean I'm suddenly a child again 🤦🏼♂️ Since we won't be back, I only have this experience to judge the place on, so I have no choice but to award single stars across the...
Read moreThe bartender was nice. She is very sweet but I felt very un safe there They do not protect women there. In fact, they protect bad people there. It's very dangerous there. The bartender there is very clueless, very, very clueless. It took me to split up a fight. It took her a last minute. It took me to raise my voice unfortunately to get help. She tried To justify everything I do not recommend This bare I do not recommend this place. In fact, a few years ago, someone got killed outside this bar. It's a very dangerous bar. If you go and do the research, there's resources that talks about dangers about this. Certain bar, in fact, they have changed owners over the years. Do not come back to this place. It is so highly dangerous. I never gone back because of that. Do not ever come back here or go here. It's so dangerous. I don't feel safe here....
Read moreThis place was a bit hard to find at first, but it's worth looking for! For a small town like G.P. there are not too many.options for later in the evening food and drinks. The battenders are really fabulous! They make great cocktails, and the don't skimp.on the alcohol, which a lot of places do these days. The 1st time, they had a pool table in the front of the bar, which is no.longer there! However, there is a sign. That says it's coming back soon.
Most enjoyable of everything was the casual good vibes atmosphere and the food! Really great food for late night that's a fact! Both times I went the wings were great as well everything we tried. Food is made to order you can tell it's hot, and crispy and overall really good. If you are in GP and it's late at night, definently.go here. There is nothing that even compares to it so far...
