The most important part of a coffee shop is the coffee, and here it was disappointing. I tried the Lavender White Mocha and the Maple Vanilla Latte, and both were far too sweet. They had that sharp, burning-throat sensation you get from anything heavy on refined sugars, like low-quality milk chocolate. They were tough to finish, and I ended up adding extra espresso shots just to balance them out.
Everyone I interacted with was kind, from the weapons check-in at the front, to the front desk, to the barista. The barista was a little quiet, but still pleasant to order from.
The location itself is large, bright, and well decorated with a religious theme that fits the fact it’s inside a church, without being overwhelming. There’s plenty of seating, the music was comfortable, and the overall vibe worked well.
I may give it another try if I’m nearby, but at this point the coffee quality doesn’t make it worth going...
