Enbar is the closest thing Great Falls has to offer big city transplants as a Metropolitan style bar. Their Cool Urban atmosphere, craft cocktails and creative menu lure you in for sure. Unfortunately, my experiences here have been inconsistently mediocre at best. The servers are usually upbeat, knowledgeable and attentive, one even went off menu for me and created an amazing unique cocktail that I’ll definitely ask for again. However, the last two times my husband and I were in for a date night dinner they were way short staffed so our service was painfully slow.... not a good thing when you’re really hungry. About a month ago we ordered dinner which took over 45 minutes to make it to our table. My husband’s rib steak was top notch, the best he’s ever had. My chicken unfortunately was shoe leather dry and barely eatable. I ate it without complaint only because I was so hungry and the chimichuri sauce was delicious.

Last night we decided to try it again. Again, they were short staffed, and again we waited way too long for our food. My wrapped asparagus was stone cold so the once warm parmesan crust was rubbery and the meat tasted like it came out of a can. I pushed it aside and had my husband who eats anything taste it.... even he didn’t like it. I didn’t want to add to our servers already hectic night by complaining, but kinda hoped she might ask about it, but she didn’t. My husband ordered the pasta with marinara and chicken, it too was an underwhelming disappointment. Dry, bland and over cooked meat.

As much as I really want to like Enbar as a restaurant, I can’t. As a bar they are top shelf. I had high hopes they would bring big city culinary savvy to this behind the times town... they are trying and maybe they will with time. Hopefully they will mindfully add some healthy menu items that cater to those of us with food sensitivities or healthy clean food preferences, ie: Paleo, Keto, gluten, dairy and sugar free. It would also be nice to see some conscientious high quality offerings like organic grass fed beef and organic meats. or organic non GMO vegetables and sides that aren’t smothered in buttery sugary sauces. There are so many ways to make outstanding dishes without using unhealthy ingredients.

You’re on the right path Enbar. You just need to keep focused on big city quality offerings. Please don’t settle into the Great Falls norm. We desperately need you to be a shining light in this dim...

So I'm giving this place two stars. That's for the layout. Was here for one night passing by, looked around and did some research and this place sounded like something I'd go to back home. So I decided to come on over... first thing the bartender didn't even greet me, just asked if I knew what I wanted.... then I ordered a mojito. Word of advice, DON'T ORDER A MOJITO. Not exactly sure how it was made, I was sitting right there and didn't see any limes and mint being muddled, I even asked if they had brown sugar to use instead of simple syrup, and she said yes....I think they have a mix already done and they just pour it, I don't know. Was never asked if I wanted to dine and I could clearly see the difference in the interaction with the "other" patrons. Bottom line, getting my tab and getting out. Disappointed, expected a much finer and classy attitude but.... I know I might not be in Great Falls again soon, but this place is definitely out. I was even looking forward to eat here, but I skipped on that, so I can't comment...

Enbar was our headquarters for my wedding. We had a post rehearsal event in their loft area with about 40 guests on a busy Friday night and they handled it with such grace and consideration even taking the time to explain their unique cocktails to my out of town guests. Enbar's creativity designing my cocktail hour appetizers, dinner, signature cocktails (expertly executed with Enbar's own provided bartenders) and dessert blew everyone away. They couldn't believe the quality they were receiving while in the middle of a field surrounded by mountains! To top it all off Enbar was able to provide a beautiful brunch the day after with minimal notice.I've received so many compliments thanks to Enbar especially Mike and Audrey. They were a big part in making my events gorgeous and memorable. No one else can compare, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my...

Three cheers for a new place to get drinks that isn't a sports bar! The environment is great, think low-key Bozeman. The drinks are amazing, I loved the Huckleberry Mule and the Juniper is great for a spring or summer drink. The Summers End drink is also tasty but not my overall favorite. If cocktails aren't your thing then they have plenty of beer and wine options. The tapas menu is small but covers many bases and is seriously tasty. We recently had the street tacos, with pork, and the fries; the fries are some of the best I've ever had and especially with the 3 dips they give you along with it. Parking is available but you may have to walk a bit. New place for when I want a light bite and a good drink with a friend. So glad we finally got a craft cocktail bar in Great Falls.

I love that Enbar is a place where I can catch up with friends over a cocktail or glass of wine without shouting over the house music. The food is top-notch, with a variety of appetizers and entrees, and I like that The Block (grilled cheese restaurant) is adjacent to Enbar, so if you miss the kitchen at Enbar, you're not out of food options. I had my first-ever French 75 here, and I *loved* it. Their old-fashioneds are reliably great, with some Montana twists, and they have a great selection of beer and of wines by the glass or by the bottle.

Contrary to the uppity attitude, there is nothing to be stuck up about at Enbar. The sub-par food is quite overpriced, one waitress gave us dirty looks and the food took 1 hour to arrive….cold. The salmon tacos are a bang for your buck but not too classy looking like a large salmon steak wrapped in a tortilla. The vibe is fun and the Juniper tastes like cough medicine, the drink named something about Summer was delicious. Carmen was great and very sweet. All around, good for drinks and an app and a bougie vibe but don’t hold your breath.
