Lafayette's Creperie — Restaurant in Greeley

We showed up to the Lafayette Creperie at 11am. We were seated, asked if we wanted water and tried to order coffee. The staff member told us to wait for her to take another tables order (understandable) although there was only two other tables. We then ordered our coffee and our food at the same time after patiently waiting. The chai latte arrived cold after waiting an extensive amount of time, so we had to ask them to remake it. They were happy to do so and it came out quickly and at a good temp. Then we waited over an hour for two crepes, we had to go inside and ask if they were going to bring our food before it came out. When we got it, they were cold and mushy. Overall the service was kind but very subpar at best and they were kind enough to take our coffees off our bill but when we asked to pay they said we have to go up front and pay with another staff member. I asked for a receipt and they told me they couldn’t give me one. We left feeling very letdown and will not return in the future or recommend to others. We just saw this lovely looking restaurant yesterday and knew we had to try it today. We arrived with our kids and were promptly seated at around 8:30. As we were being seated outside, another diner was loudly complaining that she had been seated for 10 minutes and no one had even brought her a menu. We were waited in quickly and placed our orders around 8:45.

We did not see a waitress again until I went inside at 9:45 and asked if anyone had an update on our crepes. About 5-10 min later we received them, some warm and fresh, some cold indicating they had been sitting for sometime.

The waitstaff did apologize for the wait, but that doesn’t excuse never even refilling our waters which had gone empty by 9:00.

The woman who complained at the beginning left angry and frustrated, and eventually we left feeling the same way. We enjoyed the crepes, except for the savory egg/cheese/ham which was dry and bland. But the wait times and lack of service ruined the experience. Lovely looking restaurant with a lot of potential, hopefully they get the kinks ironed out. Until then, we won’t...

The good, Ordered the breakfast scramble crepe and it was delicious. Son ordered pancakes and they were huge. The not so great, service was sub par. They took our order quickly, brought us our food then vanished. The bacon is the super thin precooked oscar meyer variety. They could do sooo much better on quality of food and for cheaper. $5 for a few paper thin slices. The drip coffe tasted like folgers. I kind of expected something along the lines of Cafe Dumonde with a name like lafayetts. No one brought a check so I went to the desk and the girl rang me up without saying a word.
