Went to the Greeley location for the first time last night. It was freezing when we got inside. We asked if we could be sat anywhere warm, they said no and that the entire restaurant was cold. I went to run to the bathroom before we ate. There was trash all over the floors, paper towels under the soap dispensers from the mounds of soap that had been coming out, trashes were over flowing and 2 of 3 toilets looked gross---not appetizing before eating. When our waitress came out, she didnt have the best attitude and when we ordered we werent given the option to order all the food in one shot. She took our appetizer order and left. When she brought the onion ring tower, she put the metal stand on our fresh clean plates....not sure where all the stand had gotten set as far as counters or the number of people that touched it before but wish it wouldve come on the side. We were given 0 napkins, 2 forks and one knife. When we asked for napkins, the guy told us they were "running out" and had to go find some but at least offered paper towels. We finally got to order food when she came back a while into our appetizers and then waited quite a while again to get food. During, the condiment bottles etc were almost empty on the tables, drinks werent refilled until we could finally catch someone going by. We were seated at such a tiny table there was physically not enough room for all the things that were brought out even though we didnt order much and the table became overflowing. We had asked a 2nd person to turn the temp up as we were literally shaking it was so cold. Got told no bc they "control the temperatures from another location". It was so uncomfortable to eat when it was that cold. There were only a couple tables of people dining when we were there. Ive waitressed myself prior and there were so many things that couldve been easily fixed, especially when there are not a lot of customers. Id hate to see what its like when packed full...
Read moreUsed to be my go to restaurant for meals with each of my daddy-dates with my kids. Twice in a week this month already. Two meals this trip: Would like to have more fries on the "bottomless" and a second "bottomless" salad. Ice tea was always a pain point and tasted like old, moldy tea that sat in a fridge for too long. Which tells me it was a cleaning issue with their machine. Took them years, and some argued with me over it as I told them, I'm Welsh and I grow peaches, fresh peach tea anyone? Gold Peak is a good tea, not cheap. I know that. I just stopped going to RR and if I did go, I definitely didn't order tea, tried sodas for awhile but that was watered down. That's when I stopped going and months would pass before I came back in regularly. I think the manager has worked all the shortcomings of the previous manager out. MUCH BETTER NOW! Tea was on point. Some regular faces of staff members are still around. I got the attention of the dining room manager for to go sauce lids. Thanked us for coming, but like a cash register attendant, there was no eye contact. Just the normal comment in passing, not the genuine, purposeful second. He has been doing the position for awhile now, not a rookie, I know he was juggling things. Friday is busy, I'm not naive to the dinner rush, looked short staffed as two waitresses sang a birthday song for a teen of a single parent (who I actually know from her job outside of RR) with her other children and mother. Odd thing: After my birthday burger email, nothing since April. Also had to put my birthday back in to the app, this isn't the first time that has happened. Things have improved and I hand it to the NoCo 2025 RR Team for stepping things back up to an...
Read moreSo to start off we arrived around 8pm. Quoted a 20 min wait for the dining area so we opted for the bar. Order drinks, meal and fries all at once. I ordered a keep it simple burger with cheese. Yes I know the cheese is extra. Server seems great, very friendly and helpful. 20 min later the first batch of fries arrive, cold. Okay they’re busy, so ick but okay. Then the server, while cleaning another table, spills ranch dressing all over the floor/table/chair etc. He goes to clean it up right away with a blue rag, spray bottle and some napkins. Great job taking care of the spill. Epic fail comes when he then tosses the blue towel and spray bottle that he just used to clean the floor onto a dirty table. About 10 min later he comes and uses the same blue towel that he just used to clean the floor, to clean the table. Huge health code violation!!! Our food showed up about 45 min after ordering. I have no cheese on my burger and the food is cold. The server offers to fix my burger, but I don’t have another 45 min to wait. He then tells me, the keep it simple doesn’t come with cheese. Yes, I know this, that’s why I asked for cheese to be added. Specifically, American cheese. Needless to say, it wasn’t the greatest experience. I could have and would have overlooked all of this if it hadn’t have been for the blue towel. So if you want your table as clean as the nasty floor, head on over to the Greeley Red Robin. If health code violations aren’t your thing, go...
