FINAL UPDATE**
The corporate HQ in TX reached out to me and to try to make it right they sent us 2 free meal gift cards (to replace the inedible ones we purchased). So seems they do care about their customers.
ANOTHER UPDATE So, I filled out their form and received an email, asking mostly the same questions that I had already answered on the form
UPDATE The company reached out to me and asked I contact them...not sure what's going to come of it, but I'm filling out their online form. This time they asked for my phone number, which I provided, and I included that I work M-F 8a-5p. They tried to call me at 2:20 pm while at wad at work! I tried to call them back, dialed the number they called me from, and the person who answered was quite rude about my not knowing who called and hung up on me!!! So I listened to the vm they left, wrote down the name & number to call, all to get a message that noone could take my call and to leave a message 🙄😡🤯
Normally we really like eating here. This time was bad 👎 The chicken fingers tasted terrible!!!! They tasted kind of burnt, kind of rancid. My husband used to work in the food industry and believes they need to clean/change out their fryers. It's a shame to have spent money on dinner for two, only to lose our appetites and end up...
Read moreAll around 5 stars! I visited this location today on my lunch hour. They had not yet really been backed uo for lunch but I was definitely the beginning of it. Something new is they now have attendants outside taking orders from tablets which made it super easy to get in and out quickly.
Now I must speak on the real reason I'm here....that kitchen. They gave me the absolute best fast food experience I have had in MONTHS. The fries, crispy on the outside still soft on the inside...ALL OF THEM. I didn't have one overcooked fry. The chicken strips again all crispy outsides with the breading holding firm to the chicken. I can't tell you how happy it made me to leave that store after tasting the food.
I've worked in kitchens before and fried foods are something most kitchens struggle with as much as they may say (it's the easiest food on the menu) it may be but you also have to cook it right. Meaning you must toss/shake the items in the basket as they cook or you have uncooked parts. Time after time, restaurant after restaurant I leave disappointed because the food isn't cooked right. This time I was above satisfied I would 110% recommend this store location to anyone in the close area! Thank you so much...
Read moreThis is currently my favorite fast food chicken restaurant. Their menu offerings are limited, and that is a good thing. Stick to what you know and can do well.
I would expect their chicken to be better than a typical fast food joints. On the other hand, how is it that they can offer hot and crispy chicken while KFC simply can't? I attribute it to the race to the bottom amongst restaurants where they compete to offer the lowest priced meals and seriously sacrifice quality. Staff training and company policies are likely also an issue. Even if the quality isn't great, there is no reason it couldn't be prepared well and served hot. KFC used to have the triple crunch which I remember being similar to the chicken sandwhich here, but they got rid of it and have been dropping the ball on chicken sandwiches ever since. This is especially disappointing given the chicken sandwhich boom of...
