Ordering delivery is a gamble. Sometimes, you get your order correctly, but most of the time, it is a mess with missing items. This is at least the second time I've had a straight-up mess from them. No sauce for my cheesesticks or dressing for my salad. This isn't that big of a deal, but annoying. The thing that really gets me is sending out a soupy mess and being ok with it. My pizza was unbelievably soggy. Pictures don't do it justice. Edit: And they did even bother cutting my pizza!! The bottom was super burnt, and the rest wasn't cooked well. This pizza is too expensive for it to look and taste this bad. We drove to the location and showed the manager our pizza. He apologized and offered a refund but didn't offer to remake the pizza. I guess that's not their policy? Just an update: They never actually processed our refund. We waited over a month. We went in to get an update on why we weren't seeing a refund on our account. The manager apologized and said he would process the refund. Months later, still no refund. I don't think we'll be going back. This was such a ridiculous experience.

I do not know who is managing this place at the moment, if it’s under staffed at the moment or what, but I was thoroughly disappointed and disgusted when I came in. The toppings did not look fresh, every last table was dirty, the floor was dirty and the employees wearing Bluetooth (which I don’t mind) but handling people’s food and constantly touching your ear bud with gloves that clearly should have been changed along time ago, is another thing. The beverage station was disgusting. I decided to get a drink while I waited. Went to get ice and I don’t like too much condensation falling into my cup which there was, so I wiped the ice maker with a clean paper towel and black GUNK was all in the inside. Needless to say I didn’t get anything to drink, I didn’t say anything else cause I was ready to leave by that point. Had the order not already been placed, I would have never stayed.(and it wasn’t for me) I am a blaze fanatic, been to many of them down south!! Was excited that one was near me but This one is not holding up to the standards.

That is a total of an hour to took this place to make my food. So much for “fast”. I just moved from Arlington, TX and the blaze there was pretty bad at getting mobile orders done as well. The person cutting the pizzas continued to cut every other pizza but mine. To top it all off, my garlic knots were burnt. I will not be back.

I had always wanted to try Blaze, so I called them up on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 at about 7:55pm. I ordered a specialty pizza and some other things (a pepperoni pizza/desserts/and a salad). I was charged $32 and change - (billed to my card over the phone) and was told to pick up my order in about 35 minutes (at about 8:30pm).

I timed the departure from home, and just as the storefront comes into view from the road, (about 8:25pm) I get a call from Blaze Pizza telling me that they don't have any of the ingredients needed to make the signature pizza I ordered. They want to know if I would substitute the specialty pizza with something else.

Maybe at another time I would have, but this day, I couldn't endure the delay this would have caused. I had a bunch of kids that had to be fed and returned home--it was a school night. I hit the little Caesar's carry out special on the way home and got everyone fed without having to wait.

Plus, let's not forget that I was allowed to wait 35 minutes and allowed to drive all the way across town before anyone thought to tell me I wasn't going to get the main thing I ordered. Without that, paying Blaze Pizza prices for everything else would not have been worth it. So, I told the young man who called me, that we would cancel the whole order, and we would have to try them again some other time.

The young man sounded irritated at having to cancel the whole order - it seemed that he may have thought I was being unreasonable. I ignored the rudeness, thinking maybe it's just been one of those days for him. I know those days well--I built, ran, and then sold a profitable food service business almost 20 years ago. Ever since then, I'm a little softer on food service businesses because I know how hard the work is.

Nevertheless, you don't let someone wait 30 minutes and drive across town and then act like they are unreasonable when they want their money back after being told you cant give them what they want. Anyway, I assured him we'd give them another try some other day, but I didn't want to proceed after learning this at the last possible moment.

Imagine my surprise when (2 days later) the $32 (and change) charge appears on my credit card statement. He never cancelled the order!

Well, when I learned this, I called the number listed on my credit card statement. I actually felt bad about that because I called at about 10pm, thinking I'd have to leave a voice mail on some corporate office answering machine. Turns out that number goes to the actual owner of the store in Greensboro.

After apologizing for bothering him so late, I told him what happened and sent him a screen capture from my credit card statement. He assured me that he would speak to local management at my store and get that fixed. Nice gentleman. I trusted that would happen--even after all this, I was still willing (and really looking forward) to going back to Blaze Pizza some day).

Here we are now, on March 23, 2021 - a week after that call, and the charge has still not been reversed. I believe the owner called his manager, but I think the manager (maybe it was the same young man who called me back) has not yet done a thing about my erroneous charges.

If I'm right about that, then, this is not the kind of place I want to spend my money because they don't seem to value the relationship with the clients. I have already spent $32 bucks and gotten nothing for it.

So, 32 bucks isn't going to break the bank, but where is the honor?

After today, I'm not going to bother with this anymore. I have honor too. I disputed the charge on my card, and am writing this review.

Will I get my money back? I don't know. What I DO know, however, is that I will not be visiting Blaze Pizza in Greensboro. Too bad, too. I was looking...

One of the worst pizza experiences I've had and the service was atrocious.

To start, I did "build your own". I asked for extra cheese, and watching them make mine, it seemed there was less cheese than others being made. So I asked for more, and the girl looked frustrated and put on a few shreds of cheese. I definitely did not feel like making a case, so I moved on.

Next, when the pizzas came out (my wife had one and I had one), she got hers. They handed me a box for mine, took it to my table, and realized it was the wrong pizza, not what I ordered. Mistakes happen, I get it. They gave me mine, and the wrong pizza they gave me originally, they closed the box and set it back down on the counter to give to the rightful owner. I did nothing to sabotage the pizza but seems like a clear health violation to me.

Lastly, I ordered a water to drink, and they gave me a small courtesy cup. I asked for a larger cup so I would not have to refill it 27 times to drink water with my pizza. The girl went to ask someone else and came back and said "no". You can buy a larger cup for water but you will pay the full size drink cost, or buy an overpriced bottle of water.

OK Blaze, the first 2 are understandable but you have lost my business forever because you wanted to charge me $3 for a cup for water. The courtesy cups are plastic - the drink cups paper. If I had to guess, the plastic cups cost more than the paper cups, so its not like I was cutting into the margins. Maybe the cup costs 3 cents (probably not that much) and between the two of us, we had $35 in pizza, and you cant give me a larger cup?

Needless to say, I will NOT be back in your store and you have lost my business forever. All over a larger cup for water. In a time when there are good pizza places around, many other choices, Blaze Greensboro will not be...

Update 9/14/2021...... I followed the directions below to submit my complaint and I failed to hear from anyone. This is after spending another 10+ minutes navigating through their site. While the food was normally great in the past, it is not worth the risk and headache if you have issues.

Original Review...... Worst experience and improper handling ever from a normally excellent establishment. Our office frequently visits this location and always get exactly what we ordered. First, since I do the ordering and pickup of our food in person to ensure maximum freshness, I always order my pizza last. They took my list from the office and started making the orders. They then insisted that I give them my order while they work on the others. I obliged and reminded them to wait to put it in the oven. Error #1, but no biggie, or was it? I got to the register at which time they had an issue with the computer system that took nearly 10 minutes to fix. By this time my pizza was already out of the oven getting cold while waiting for the others. Then they starting boxing mine and proceeded to splash a bunch of pesto sauce on it, which I can't stand the taste of. By that time, I was already in the restaurant for a good 20 minutes and he offered to make me another one, which I had no time for, but he charged me for it when I clearly did not want it. I threw the pizza away and didn't eat it, but got "Flames" from it, BUT that was only after I had to ask for receipts because they wouldn't scan my phone with the QR code from the app. Wait, it gets better...It took me less time to write this review than the time I spent trying to contact corporate customer service since the store level leadership wasn't empowered nor competent to do anything for me. I may not be back and I recommend caution for those...
