I heard about this place on the radio and I love cookies, so I was excited to stop by and give them a try. I thought the atmosphere was cool when I walked in I love the creative twist.
However, the set up is not ideal. When I got there the cookies were not set up properly on the counter to view, so as a customer was in front of me I couldn't even see what they had. More than 6 people in this place and the line is almost out the door. I asked for a lid for my drink and was surprised they do not give them out because "rappers" don't use lids and it is a California vibe. Well, we aren't in California walking out and about most of us have to get in our cars and travel with the drink so that is absurd. My drink did end up spilling in my car which I knew would happen. They offered me a baby bottle, but no thanks- I'm 32 won't need one of those. There was a special 7 for 20 and 2 drinks, but when I asked for a smaller order I was surprised that 4 for 20 is the cheapest.
All of that aside the taste was much to be desired. Crumbl in my opinion is much better. More spacious, more professional, slightly cheaper and taste better overall.
This was not opening day FYI, nor rush...
Read moreSo I have been telling my kids that I was going to take them to try this place out so today was the day, when we walked in around 2:00pm -2:15pm we were the only customers. We were not greeted at all. The girl at the front actually told us to wait a minute and walked in the back. After about two minutes, she came back but now she was on the phone about two more minutes. She finally got off the phone. Then she asked us did we want to try the Special I agree and told my kids to pick out their cookies. I have a four year-old son that was with me and he was saying hi. She ignored him the entire time. Proceeded to rain the cookies up after my kids had picked out their choice again not a word. The cookies looked old. My son had spoke for the 40th time with no response. I then politely gave her those cookies back, tole her aboitbherself and walked out. I am not expecting, everyone to be kid friendly but what I am expecting at a place I’m spending my money at is common courtesy and respect. I will never return. My kids were very disappointed, but in this situation, I hope taught them that they do not have to expose themselves to bad customer...
Read moreI love the overall theme of the interior design, Art, brand and cookie names. The service was great and they were very helpful with making decisions. However, to my friend and I the cookie were extremely disappointing.
I got the pink elephant which was undercooked in the middle and it was overly sweet and I didn’t taste any cheesecake.
The purple haze was the worst one for me, it tasted like lavender in the cookie which didn’t really match well with the red velvet and white chocolate and the middle was also undercooked.
The fire cracker was decent but it was just wayyy too much sugar. And finally, the cookies and crème tasted like sugar coated Oreos and had a very slight taste of how dish liquid smells.
For my final experience of the cookies themselves loved the aesthetic, creative names and appearance but the taste isn’t there at all, not to mention the absurd pricing ($5 per cookie or $18 for 4 cookies).
It left me feeling like sugar was just sitting on my tongue and my stomach a bit queasy, definitely not worth to money. I recommend the minis to try and see if like...
