Rude host, slumped over the host stand like she was a bar top, and seemed genuinely annoyed with everyone she interacted with, and annoyed that she had to be at work. Not a good way to start the meal...then, the girl that sat us, young woman with dyed red hair, brought us to a dirty table. We asked if it could be cleaned first, we were given attitude and told it was clean. There was literally 2 baskets full of dirty napkins and empty syrup bottles from the last guests that dined there. Crumbs still on the table and chairs. My mother in law asked if we could have the chairs wiped down before mybwifes grand mother sat down and the table wiped, she said "I have a towel in my pocket, ill wipe it sir". Is that normal practice? No sanitizer to clean the table between guests? I realize that they were busy, but sanitation standards shouldn't change because of that. I have never seen a pocket of a stranger that I wanted to eat out of, I don't know why we would want to eat off a table "cleaned" by dry wiping it with a pocket towel. We have had great experiences here the last 3 times we ate her. We will choose somewhere else next time, the rude host is unacceptable. Half the silverware packs had dirty silverware as well. It didn't get any better when the food showed up. Dirty plates, no syrup, food made wrong, and one of our guests entire meal didn't show up. The server read the whole order back to us, guess she just forgot to ring it in. We were there for over an hour waiting and the manager never left the doorway to the kitchen, with his back to the dinning room. Just a poor experience in general. So 20 mins later, I'm still waiting for my food to come out, everyone else. Has finished eating, and the server comes back to ask me again what I ordered so she can ring it in now. No manager table touch, he is looking at our table from in front of the kitchen door, but no table touch. They did bring out the biscuits they forgot, but they were half biscuits, half stale dried out corn read muffins and the biscuits are stained with Blueberry somehow? After out dirty table, dirty silverware, rude host, pocket towel wiped table...I cant even imaging what's happening in the kitchen. The buser is walking around the dining room cleaning tables with ear buds in his ear, this is comical at this point. Also, who puts ice in orange juice? Just go somewhere else...trust me

Online ordering has issues and they need options to choose if problems arise. I ordered an item that apparently was not available, but was not made aware until after I arrived to pick up my order. I asked for a refund, but they could not give me a refund at the time stating because it was online order they would have to figure out how to issue that refund. I was told to give it one week and I would receive the refund. It has been a week and I have yet to receive it. I contacted the restaurant because apparently there’s no way to actually speak with someone in customer service. After being on hold for 18 minutes, I spoke with a manager by the name of Stephen, who was very rude, he actually hung up on me and when I called back, he simply answered the phone by saying “hello”. He stated that another manager had processed the refund a couple days ago, but would not give me an actual date. So I will give it a couple more days and we’ll see. But this manager needs some training in customer service, never once did he apologize for the inconvenience of my refund or apologize for hanging up on me. I have these calls recorded. Cracker Barrel has sadly gone downhill over the years. On this order, I had ordered chicken fried chicken with sides. The chicken was so breaded, it was impossible to eat, when you got to the chicken, it was a VERY thin. Whenever you order a side item, you barely get a good portion. Get it together Cracker Barrel! Update: almost 3 weeks later and still no refund. I disputed the charge with my bank, for this one item only and I was issued a refund within an hour. Let me also mention, if this was an item of a small amount, I would have let it go, but the total for this item was $14.93. Money is tight these days, so yes it was a big deal. I will never return to this Cracker Barrel.

Awesome, delicious, staff great.. mistake was going on a Sunday afternoon.. church crowd there, so long wait.. ours 45 minutes .. but the cool gift shop area makes it fly by.. though staff was definitely busy, I say with that commotion I'd lose it, our waitress was friendly, and with all her tables still good. ( tip more than 20% they really deserve it) there's enough staff that if you needed something would followup behind your waitress to lend a hand..I love that.. after a great much needed hot home style meal.. we shopped around the gift shop.. the items there are awesome ,unique and even if not dining I'd shop there for great gifts. Love the nostalgia of the entire place, the friendly staff are wonderful. Place was clean, bathroom too" 5 stars for that alone. And after dining, shopping we left content, full and happy with our experience. Are all Cracker Barrel's alike.. sadly some I've ate at, our not, but kudos to this one. They're a definite place to eat and relax, enjoy.. Thank you to all at the Cracker Barrel near Greensboro, airport area. 5 stars and then some.. be back next time we visit area for sure.

So first off we go here all the time or to the other 1 in greensboro. The past 2 times we have been to wendover location hadn't been good. Got sat down and about 12 mins later the waitress got drink order, about 15 mins after that finally got drinks, then waited 30 mins after that to get the food and mine was Luke warm and our biscuits were like bricks. I will have to give a shout out to the manager because he wiped our whole bill me being a manager I would have done the same. He was very very kind and understanding. The worst part is of this all as we always buy alot out of the store when we are there. So I grabbed 1 of their cute bags as normal and started shopping some blonde lady with pony tail kinda harassed me stating she needed my bag I said ok well I need something else I buy alot, I get it my husband and I were in work clothes not dressed to impress this time around so it's like we were being treated like theives I mean wow. Other people dressed nice had the same bags shopping not 1 thing hot said. Anyway I was carrying their little tiny baskets trying to pile everything I was buying in it and I have carpel tunnel in wrists and bulging disc so husband was taking my purse out and the lady ran to him at door like can I help u he was going out the door he then asked her ma'am what is the problem here look in my wife's pocket book I am taking to car for her he said we have shopped here many years and never encountered this sorry we are in our work uniforms and don't look rich at the moment. We had my mixed son and his wife who happens to be a beautiful black woman and our precious granddaughter and my daughter in law wouldn't even get a basket because the lady was so offensive to us. Needless to say I spent about 150$ and daughter in law about $100 and something as we do about once every 2 or so months. Us as Christians felt like what in the world is going on here I felt very attacked and expressed to the lady I come here all the time eat then shop but I can stop if this ever happens again. Hope they get better about judgment. Again the food manager was very understanding but the server was terrible and the blonde lady maybe late 40's 50's very aggressive toward me shopping. Hope you all get this...

My family and I came here tonight, as Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite spots. Tonights service was by far some of the worst service we’ve had at any restaurant. We were sat immediately but waited 10-15 minutes and had to stop a passing waitress to ask for service. Once our waitress came, we realized we were her only table. By that point, we’d had plenty of time to decide what we wanted to eat so we gave our full order, including drinks, appetizers, and food. She brought us drinks and biscuits (no choice on biscuits and cornbread I may add). We then waited another 20-30 minutes and she didn’t check on us. We had to ask a passing waitress for napkins. We had to ask the manager to refill our drinks. Once she did come back, she told us our food was being plated. We hadn’t even gotten our appetizer or side salads yet. Everything was brought out pretty much at once so we didn’t have enough space on the table for everything. Not to mention, the food was cold. She didn’t offer any toppings/sauces for some of the sides either. We didn’t want to ask either honestly since we would likely be done eating by the time it was brought. After our food was brought out, we never saw her again. We asked the manager yet again for drinks. Waited another ten minutes or so after we finished eating and still she never came to check on us. We asked for the manager and notified him of the poor service. We told him we were wanting desert but didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes to order it and 20 to actually get it. He promptly brought us boxes for our remaining cold food and the check. He also told our waitress the deserts we wanted to which she brought out in a timely manner. We got them to go and left. We aren’t usually the type to complain, as most everyone in my family has worked as a waiter/waitress at some point. We would’ve understood if they were busy but we were her only table. Not even a large table, there were only 4 of us. Not sure we’ll be back...
