Many people wore suits and dress clothes here (I went on Sunday evening), but I also saw a few people in jeans and a t-shirt. I also like the darker theme, which feels professional and fairly intimate. In other words, it’s definitely not a diner or average bar. But at the same time, it didn’t feel stuffy. They do play country music there at a soft volume. You can hear it if you listen, but you won’t really notice it if you’re talking. I would personally prefer something like classical or easy listening for a nice evening out. They also have the large stuffed head of a steer in the back. So the brand feels like a “prime rib” of an upscale restaurant with a subtle hint of “Tabasco sauce” that would be a meat-loving conservative from Texas who thinks vegans are ridiculous. Ironically, it’s one of the favorite restaurants of a good friend who is a liberal, so the slight “Tabasco sauce” definitely isn’t strong enough to bother them (or even make them mention it). The service was great overall. I would imagine that they need to take advanced training in service. Also, although it was a busy dinner rush, we didn’t need to wait very long at all for our main course. There was one slight hiccup, however. After ordering, we decided that we didn’t want brown sugar on the sweet potato. We told this to another waiter about 30 seconds after ordering and then confirmed with our waiter a few minutes later. However, when the food came out, the sweet potato had brown sugar on it. The server graciously and efficiently brought the food back and then came out a little later with a fixed version. I would chalk this up to the impressively fast and efficient kitchen operations (and service). As a side note, we ordered the steak “well done,” but there was still a little pink in it. I know some cooks probably feel removing all pink from quality steak at a steakhouse is essentially a crime, so I don’t fault them for this. I would just recommend that anyone who doesn’t want any pink in their meat should clearly explain that fact rather than simply saying, “well done.” Of course, the food was fantastic. It was well-seasoned and flavorful. It was well cooked but not dry at all (I’m avoiding the “m” word some people don’t like). This was my first time here. My friend comes here often, and I could see it becoming a habit for me as well.

I’m a pretty laid back very friendly person but last night had me heated leaving. I just moved to the area from Monroe where I am a regular weekly customer there with my girl friends. LOVE the staff & bartenders are great know me by name. So I was excited to see I had another longhorn to visit.. until I wasn’t. My boyfriend & I ordered medium rare steaks, mine was fine his was WELL DONE. So I swapped him because I knew he wouldn’t eat it lol. When our waiter came by (she was nice) I told her & just said I wanted it taken off the bill because it was already 9:45 pm the food took awhile & we were exhausted. She said she needed to show the manager so she did & brought it back.. So the manager comes by & drops the bill I told her what happened & nothing was taken off, she said yeah but you ate it? I was shocked. No shit I ate it at this point it was 10pm & we just wanted to go home. So she took less than $2 off our bill.. needless to say we will never be back & I will tell anyone who listens what happened. We will happily drive back to Monroe with our friends & enjoy dinner with amazing staff!

At this point I got to eat it because I'm hungry but this is bullshit do not come here cannot stress enough I sat at the bar I will be uploading pictures of what the bar area looks like.... Dirty dishes all over the counter by far the worst experience I've ever had...

I only give 3 stars because of the excellent food. The server was not up to the task of working as a server. I don't know her name. There were 2 of us and she put us in a corner booth that would have held 5 people easily. We got our drinks, and about 5 minutes later she brought the bread. When we were ready to order we got fried pickles for our appetizer. While we waited on our entrees, my friend had ran out of drink. The server didn't come back to check on us until she brought our food. We told her we needed a refill of drink. just a side note, we were drinking Coca~Cola. No alcohol at all After about 5 minutes she brought the refill. We ate and she NEVER came back until she noticed me looking for her. I asked for a TO GO box. She didn't ask if we wanted drinks to go. Normally the "high-end" restaurants ask if you want your drinks TO GO. She didn't and I forgot to ask for it. I remembered after she left and I WAS NOT asking for it because her service was so terribly slow! She brought the box after making us wait AT LEAST 5 minutes. Before I could ask her ANYTHING she was gone. After about 10 more minutes of searching for her, she finally saw me and I flagged her down. I told her I needed the check. She didn't ask if we wanted separate tickets even though we wanted it together. She was supposed to ask. After what seemed like forever, she brought our check. We usually pay with a debit card, but that day we used Cash. I think I left her a $1.00 tip. She is very lucky she got anything! My "tip rule" is this: If you want a nice tip, your service needs to be quick and consistent. Don't make me wait and wait. Don't let me run out of drink. Fill it up when it gets no less than halfway down. Don't disappear to where I have to search for you to get your attention. Come back to check on us no longer than every 10 minutes. Be polite. Smile even if you don't feel like it. The amount of money you earn per table depends on you. Not the customer. Be attentive and you will get a nice tip from me. So, those are the reasons why this server impacted the number of stars I picked. The food itself was AWESOME!! Very good flavor and cooked EXACTLY as ordered. If you go to this restaurant, make sure you don't get the girl with the curly hair. BTW I ended up leaving a dollar tip. She deserved nothing but a penny upside down (tails up). Putting a penny tails up means the service was terrible. Leaving 2 pennies means the service wasn't worth 2 cents....

The online get in line ahead waiting system worked great! The hostess accommodated a seating change to a booth which was appreciated.

My wife and I were in a hurry of sorts and ordered drinks and entrees immediately. The waitress was friendly and smiled. She had a neat appearance and was professional.

Cesar salads and warm bread hit quickly and was fresh and tasty. The entrees pushed out in around 20 minutes. They were not too busy, so we expected a quick turnaround.

My wife enjoyed her salmon and baked potato. I started on my loaded sweet potato which was awesome. The waitress did a very early check and everything was fine. However my Outlaw steak cooked medium was rare. It also was very fatty.

I pushed through around a quarter until we flagged the waitress down and told her. At this point my wife was done. The waitress apologized and offered a refire which I turned down with being in a hurry. I also did not want the same fatty steak. We requested a bill.

She quickly came back with the bill and offered us desert to go which we declined. She said the manager discounted my steak 25%. I was not going to complain, but the meat was overall poor quality, then add in undercooked. I was also disappointed the GM did not come to the table.

A 2.5 seems fitting. I tipped 30% to make sure the waitress was taken care off due to the discount. Her mistake was checking in too quick, but then not again after the meat was cut. A GM visit to apologize would have bumped my review to a 3.

I'm still a fan of the chain, but not rushing back....
