Crumbl — Restaurant in Greensboro

Crumbl has not gone uphill for me since I’ve first tried their cookies. I’m talking going every week to try a brand new line up of cookie flavors.

I do love the concept of enormous specialty cookies available for a limited time but I would love to see some improvements made even more.

Lately Crumbl has been releasing desserts that are not ‘cookies’ and are more so pies or cakes. This has raised the prices of what they offer on top of already being pricey. Not a huge fan of the shift. You will see surcharges here and there. Examples including +$.99 cents, +$1.49, etc.

The cookies tend to all taste the exact same which is why I originally stopped ordering their desserts, along with the pricing. A lot of the time they are unbaked especially in the middle. Now I like myself a cookie with a little goo but only when baking my own.

The aesthetic of the place is perfect. A theme of white and pink. I’ve never had an issue with customer service, I actually have placed curbside for each order. It’s an easy process.

I absolutely fell in love with Crumbl. Cookies are so huge and yummy- very sweet. I’ve always ordered curbside and once encountered the staff when picking up a doordash order, they were kind!

Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of Alana. I came here the other day and one of the gentleman working was rude with a smart mouth. I ordered via the app and went inside to pick up the cookies. Was told they were out and I simply asked why did it let me order on the app. Instead of being nice, he just kept saying smart stuff so I asked for a refund bc he told me it would be a hour until they made more. In order to get a refund he had to call the store manager so I stepped off to the side while he called. Came back and said the manager would call me when it’s done so I asked should I wait then. In a snarky tone He was like if you want but it will be 30 minutes bc he is running a business. With that and all the other smart stuff he was saying, I went off bc you’re not about to keep speaking to me any type of way when I’ve been nothing but nice. He finally went to the back and got someone with sense to come speak to me. Alana was very apologetic and got me right. The gentleman should have been apologizing as well. Wow! How did I get so lucky to enjoy this amazing dessert?! 😁 This Tres leches cake from Crumble is fantastic! It's incredibly moist cake and the whipped cream on top has just the right amount of sweetness. They really nailed it with this one 👏 I totally recommend it! It was the hometown pic featured today. And as always, the staff was friendly and eager to help at this location.
