Donut World — Restaurant in Greensboro

As I sit in my car like a addicted pastry fool, gobbling up this delicious apple crawler and hot coffee I realized I needed to leave a review on this little known donut Oasis. It's a blustery December day and I wanted a cup of coffee but when I drove by Krispy Kreme on Battleground the parking lot was full and traffic was heavy so I kept driving and saw donut world further. I stopped to check it out ordering there best seller Apple crawler and a cake donut along with their coffee taking full advantage of the $2 cup of coffee and donut special, even though I just added the crawler for an extra $1.95. Not only was the coffee straight up black and hot and strong but both the cake donut and crawler was delicious. Simply put just like any pastry business coming at the right time is always key even though freshness should always be on the top of our minds. Donuts are extremely delicious, nice employees but within the last 6 months or longer they seem to always be sold out. Very frustrating when you drive 10-15 minutes early in day and they are already sold out. Not once. Not twice...multiple times. I went today at 1:15 and they were sold out of the kind I like. Like the other recent review, I went two other times and a sold out sign was on the door and they closed way early. I would understand being sold out late in the day but they don't close until 8pm. I have complained several times thinking it would help but after today I had to write a review letting other know you may want to call first. Get it together...

If I could give them A zero I would. The donuts are good, however it didn't mean a thing with food poisoning. I ate two glazed donuts two days ago. About one hour after I ate the donuts I knew something wasn't right. I did pull something yellow off my donut, however I thought it was icing. I threw up everywhere after an hour. My husband called the store to report what happened. They just said thank you. However I kept throwing up and running to the bathroom five hours later. Now here I am today Thursday and still throwing up. I am done with donuts for life because of this experience. Just to look at a donut reminds me of how I was throwing up everywhere, how...
