I get the feeling that dentists/doctors donāt really care about your situation and itās more about the money. In the past 3-5 years I have been to 3 different dentists and it was easily noticed that itās all about money and not really about the wellbeing of clients. Today I felt more worse about my situation than when I came in. The staff and team were great but the dentist made me feel like she really did not care. I felt rushed when speaking about my situation and also felt judged. Did not really assure me everything would be ok and can be resolved. Iām not sure if this place has dealt with a lot of people like me (young and black) but really felt like I did not matter. She even asked me do I do drugs which I know is a common question but the way it was asked made me assume that she thought I was on drugs due to my appearance which Iām a young black male with dreadlocks. It took a lot not to say something about this and remain professional while there. I do not think I will be going back to this office. It also took a lot to work up enough courage to go to a dentist because I am self conscious about my oral health and appearance of my smile as I have missing teeth in the front which has also caused spacing. As an adult I have not visited a dentist 1-2 times a year like suggested. Iām 32 and since 17-19 I have not had regular visits to a dentist and wanted to get on top of it before itās too late. I have lost a couple of teeth (more to come) and developed gum disease and currently on a journey back to a great smile. Today did not make me feel confident that this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas referred here approx 1.5yrs ago. Would not recommend for severe dental phobics. Dr Longville spent more time on secondary issues than the one glaringly serious problem: a failing implant which now requires surgery, somewhere else. I also found her condescending when I was told "they were doing their part but I was obviously not doing mine" during my next to the last visit. It took a lot of hard work on my part to control my phobia which they managed to unravel in my first visit and they make very certain they are paid up-front. I would consider this office primarily a "for profit" business and less of a caring facility. However, Vicky (hygienist) is great! UPDATED Just a few days after posting this review on their website, I received a call from Dr Longville. She was dismayed over the review and still placed more of the problem on me than their lack of action and recognition of the dangerous infection going on. I told her the problem was being cared for, promptly, by another office and had already had surgery. She was (somewhat) apologetic but still reluctant to accept any responsibility. She also seemed to want the review removed, which I have not. It's interesting to note that all negative reviews have been removed from their website leaving only glowing,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis morning I had a disappointing experience at Greensboro Perio office when my appointment was scheduled incorrectly, preventing me from getting the procedure I requested. The scheduling error not only inconvenienced me, but to make matters worse, the provider Dr. Benitez characterized my concern as 'picky.' If this procedure was completed to my satisfaction the first time, then I wouldnāt be sitting in his chair again. The lack of accountability and professionalism left me dissatisfied with my visit. Clear communication and accountability are crucial in these settings. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of these expectations. Prior to today, my experiences with Greensboro Perio had been Amazing. Please note that Tonya along with a young lady with the front office staff did issue an apology for the scheduling error, and I wasnāt charged for the visit. Unsure, if I will be back to Greensboro Perio to have my...
