Every Sunday during footballs season, roughly 10-15 of my family members and friends meet at a bar to watch games. Within the group are die-hard Panthers, Patriots, Packers and Cowboys fans and the age ranges from early 20âs to mid 50âs so settling on the right place isnât always easy. We went to the same bar all season last year but after a change in management, we were looking for a new spot. We decided to try Brass Tapâs last Sunday. It seemed perfect for us. Not too loud or crowded, not overpriced, good apps and finger foods, great beer selection. We almost didnât stay when we were told that the Panthers game would be the only one viewable, but we saw the new bartender go out of his way to try to accommodate us. Canât remember his name, but he spent about 30 minutes searching the guides, calling the owner, etc and told us that the owner was âhappy to accommodate us and order the games they werenât showing.â Weâre more than reasonable ppl and weren't going to ask them to do that just for us, but the gesture itself was enough for us to stick around most of the afternoon. Food and service were great, especially the new guy who took that initiative to accommodate us and also volunteered to take some pics of us, set up cornhole on the patio for us and made drinks like a seasoned pro. Youâll see us back for sure, and apologies for not getting around to posting...

Itâs like youâve known every person in the place for a long long time, & if i DONâT know them, that âfeelingâ gives you the confidence & ability to just go up to them & introduce yourself. I attribute most of that to the bartenders, Katie & Marty & all the staff. They introduce themselves, they remember your name, they remember what you drink.. Something only good friends take the time to do.....
