Mint Indian Cuisine & Bar is a new fixture here in South West Greensboro, and being curious I decided to go by for lunch for their buffet. First thing I will say, the 9.99 buffet specials is over. it is now 13.99 during weekdays and 16.99 on the weekend, which is what I paid. I understand this this is a increase in price, but I will say, it was worth that and more! The service was immaculate and the waitress was knowledgeable about the dishes and even recommended good side dishes to go with the mains at the buffet. The food on display smelled and looked delicious. Plenty to eat on the weekend buffet, at least 5 vegetarian dishes and 5 meat dishes adorn each side, I had a bit of both sides, and both were to my liking. The food tasted immaculate, and since it is a buffet I know they didn't add much spice to the main dishes so I know to order them for dinner as a spicier version to have an even better experience for me. I will say for those who don't like spice the buffet is a great option because everything is mild but you can still taste all the deep flavors of each dish. Also, I will say, if they have pickled mango on the line, try it! its not really sweet but it is a satisfying flavor to cut through the heavy flavored dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant and will come...
Read moreWe recently visited Mint Indian Cuisine & Bar in Greensboro for the first time on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant is relatively new, but they’ve already set a high bar for quality and service. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Our dishes were fresh and delicious. The naan was OUTSTANDING. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server, Kritina, was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home—she truly elevated our dining experience. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with beautifully decorated walls featuring scenic images of India that add a cultural touch. The sanitation grade was excellent, and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained—always a good sign of overall care. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit. If you’re in the Greensboro area and looking for great Indian cuisine with exceptional service, Mint is definitely worth...
Read moreI find it interesting to see so many non-Indian natives, suggesting the food is bland and not authentic, just because they ate at some "authentic" Indian restaurant somewhere else. Sorry to burst your bubble, but India is not a monolith and Indian food is not one thing. It may not be their preference but not every Indian spices their food to the same extent! We had the Friday lunch buffet at this restaurant and ate the vegetarian items - there were several to choose from and typical of most buffets. For me, the food tasted excellent and had the right balance of spices, heat, and flavors. There was a good variety of choices on the buffet and the server brought to the table some good naan as well. The service was exceptional, and the young lady server was very polite and friendly. An unexpected surprise were the over a dozen sketches on the walls (apparently drawn by an uncle of the owner) that transported me back down memory lane to my childhood in Mumbai. Overall a great experience and I will go here...
