Was there Saturday night for an advertised Eventbrite night out. Took my girlfriends who were visoting frim NY...HUGELY DISAPPOINTED ! There were no drink specials offered or posted, even though their IG page stated otherwise. I was so excited to go check this place out and show my girls a great time.Event was scheduled to start at 8 PM. We walked in the door at 9:30. They were not even open yet, the bar was still being set up.there was no one there, we had to wait until they finished setting up the bar to even order. 15 to $17 cocktails lacked alcohol. There was a gratuity, automatically added to the bill , is this a new Greensboro thing? I certainly would not mind paying the gratuity. If the drink was worth the price. The place was really nice as far as the bartenders and servers, the big leather couches are definitely a nice touch to match the beautiful pictures of celebrities on the wall! The ridiculous drink prices, not being ready for customers an hour and a half after opening and watered down drinks...not a great way to bring the crowd. I really want to give this place another chance...hope they...
Read moreMy friends and I arrived two hours before the place closed. The bouncer at the door said that the entry fee was $20. A young lady who wasnât with us stepped off the line so that she could get the extra money from her car to get in. He said to us hurry up and pay the $10 because Iâm still going to charge the other girl $20. Sneaky and Iâm guessing he was going to pocket the money because when he opened the door to let us in, there was another host at the door that said the entry fee was only $10. I will not be coming back here and would...
Read moreThey advertise as free before 10:30, but I went last night and paid $20. The lady said itâs only free if you have a ticket (which wasnât included on social media or the flyer) then when I looked, there wasnât even a link to reserve the ticket. Itâs no problem paying a cover, but it shouldnât be advertised as one thing then when you get there itâs different. I also didnât see any drink specials posted. Then, the bouncer kept asking me if I was wearing my real hair as if black women canât naturally have long/thick hair. White women never get asked those questions.
On a more positive note, the DJ was good and the space is...
