Greenville's Third Wave coffee shop. This isn't a Starbucks or a dunkin donuts place that has factory-made syrups delivered to them filled with preservatives that were made months ago in order cover the taste of burnt "coffee". (Not trying to diss those places, just trying to prepare people that this is for people who like coffee more than loud flavors). This place just serves a pure delicious coffee (and espresso) and if need be, they do have a homemade simple syrup (made in house, of course) . One is made with subtle Chinese five spice (clove, anise, black pepper, fennel, cinnamon) which absolutely delicious and unique ( coffee coffee is located during the day in Sum Bar, the Chinese Tapas place). I also LOVE their matcha. Having lived in Japan before, I'm rather a snob about my matcha. I heard the owner saying that they source their matcha from a family matcha farm in Japan and that totally makes sense now. My favorite day to come is on Thursday when they serve congee for brunch (the matcha ans coffeeis such a great pairing) . The people working here are also super sweet and genuinely care. I was in a wheel chair a couple of months ago and they would rush to open doors for me when they saw me a wheelin'. So I would rate this as my favorite coffee shop in South Carolina- not only in Greenville. (Oh I'm trying to avoid sugar but I have snuck a few bites of their pastry from their pastry chef and it always so delicious and unique, albeit limited supplies!)

As someone who's favorite indulgence is coffee, and I mean the Gesha pour over or Kyoto drip that's been masterfully dialed in and the barista shares a passion of the farming to the roasting to the best way to taste that bean in its peak form, this place is it. This isn't a place you go for a $6 water full of sugar and a little hint of coffee somewhere in there. This is where you go to try extremely special roasts like those from Mame. This is a place with the most incredible five spice latte ever which is just sweet enough for the avid sugar coffee drinker, but not too sweet for the purists. The owners are incredible as well as all the staff I've met in my 3 times of coming. They care about YOU, then they care about the cup you get, then they care about your experience. Just an unbelievable atmosphere with their friendliness and the community in this spot with love records playing. They share a space with a bar/bites place that opens at night when they've closed, so don't be mistaken by all the bottles of alcohol in their space. I will never go through South Carolina (I live in the Tri-State area) without coming here. Coffee Coffee is one of my favorite shops in the states and I will always make my way back there every chance I get.

This is the best coffee in Greenville by a mile. The staff is fantastic and super knowledgeable. Their coffee is the highest quality and absolutely delicious. I had an almond milk latte that I savored and I can’t wait to try something new next trip. Jeremiah cares deeply about bringing great quality food and coffee drinks to the already bustling town of Greenville. I am so glad I found this place!

I’m devastated to report that I discovered this coffee shop just before moving away from sweet Greenville. Without a doubt, this is the best latte in GVL. The seasonal menu, the crafted ingredients, the bright flavors, and the perfect milk-to-espresso ratio… these guys have absolutely nailed their craft.

If you’re looking to add a coffee shop to your rotation and already love the likes of our town’s great crafters (Due South, Other Lands, or Flying Fox) then make your way to Coffee Coffee for a truly splendid experience. This team knows what they are doing and they make...
