Purchased the food on June 30, 2018, okay the BBQ and slaw with hushpuppies, I must say I have had better. This was my first time visiting this place since it opened. I have always went to the other Parkers in Greenville, NC and they all tasted the same, okay. Would go back there again, maybe. Their bbq don't stay on my mind where I would recommed this place to visitors. I was not impressed with the bbq nor with the slaw. I left this review about this store because it's my honest opinion about how the food tasted to me. The location is on Arlington Blvd., Greenville, NC, and I didn't think this was a negative review, just my opinion about the food that I purchased at this store. Everybody is not going to like the food or had better BBQ elsewhere, I know I have. Also I can not believe the way the owner came at me about me writing a negative review about this store. First of all, my review was not that negative. I just feel I could have gotten better BBQ someplace else in Greenville, NC. This is not the only store that sells BBQ and I have been to other stores that have better tasting BBQ and slaw. I write reviews for other to see my opinion not to bring down a store business. If you can not handle other's opinions about your products then you will have a rude awaken to the real world of today. Since the owner seem like he had a problem/issue with my opinion, then I won't be back and I will not recommend this store at all to anyone that I know who wants BBQ, I will advise them to go elsewhere. I didn't eat my food in the store, I purchased my food and came home to eat it. It was not the worse, I just said I could have better else where that's all to it. Read moreFor the past week only, I’m only giving a Service shout out to Jordan and Jaden!! At the Arlington location. These two men have fantastic customer service skills! They should be trainers for some of the others. I’ve gone at least 3-4 times this week, (not just for me) :) and they have been there at the drive thru. Awesome awesome awesome!!
I love hearing their voice on the mic! They are nice, polite, kind and always have a smile on their face! It’s like they enjoy being there! If they don’t, well then they’re good at hiding it! Some of the other drive thru workers are rude.
One time my order was wrong I Checked the bag with my hands of course, I asked for white meat they gave me dark, I let the lady know, she looked at me and rolled her eyes, then proceeded to take the bag back. Now get this, she emptied the already touched chicken by me right back into the bin they keep the chicken in.
I couldn’t believe it! But who am I kidding, nothing surprises me anymore…. So, I said ma’am you do know I put my hands in that bag, did you really just put the chicken back in that bin? She said absolutely NOTHING!! She gave me the look like here’s your chicken now leave. ATP it was obvious that she didn’t care.
I could not go inside due to a short break. I tired calling but as usual no one picked up. I just let it go… needless to say, that’s why I pray over my food… Anyway kudos to Jordan and Jaden! Job well done. Keep it up!

Read moreAs a splurge day, I normally treat my family to a Parker's #3 meal at least once a week, normally on Friday or Saturday. I just love the family feel! As a regular, I've learned some of the staff by name and it is a great feeling to go to a place where the staff is professional and so incredibly friendly. I know that we are in a time where places are short staffed and I can understand the frustration that can cause, not to mention some of the incredibly rude customers that the staff may have to tolerate. And sometimes you may just have something personal that you're dealing with but you still have to show up to work. The staff at Parker's isn't exempt from any of this but I have never experienced a bad attitude or even sensed that someone was frustrated or in bad mood. No matter what may be going on behind the scenes, I have always been treated with respect and received great service. In the off chance that I've had a problem with my order, it has been rectified, immediately and that is a very rare occurrence.
As far as the food goes, well, I eat there at least once a week, need I say more 😉. When I have family come into town, especially when my parents were living, they have to have Parker's at some point during their visit.
