Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Greenwood

We have not had Domino's Pizza in years so we decided to give it a try. My wife used the Order Online and Carry Out which is very convenient. There is a Meter that shows how far along your pizza is so no wondering. We ordered two pizzas and a couple sides, the order was ready in seven or so minutes. The staff was really polite, I gave the order name and and was out. In all the ordering to carrying the pizza out was under ten minutes. And the pizza...the pizza was suppose to be hand tossed but there was nearly no crust. So personal opinion on crust will decide if that's a pro or con. The bottom crust is also pretty thin and flimsy. The pepperoni pizza tasted mostly of cheese and pepperoni grease. Kind of like a Little Caesars pizza that has sat a while and lost most of the flavor. Not what I was hoping for. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was right on. No complaints. If you like buffalo wings you will probably enjoy this pizza. The sides were great. The cheese bread was probably the best cheese bread I have had in years. And the cinnamon twist were also great. The meal was a little pricey with the bland tasting pepperoni pizza being my main complaint. Overall the experience was positive. The ordering and the customer service were great. Domino's is A Pizza Place . Not a very good one , but maybe not the worst. The pizza was filling , their sauce is still as bad as it was 20 years ago. The service was at best called adequate. THE MOST HORRIBLE THING I OBSERVED WAS THAT THE ASSOCIATE PRESSING OUT THE DOUGH WAS NOT WEARING GLOVES , HE TOUCHED THE FACE OF ANOTHER ASSOCIATE AT ONE POINT THEN PUT HIS HANDS BACK INTO THE DOUGH. BUT IT GETS WORSE , TWO TIMES WHILE I WAS OBSERVING HE WENT TO THE CASH REGISTER AND TRANSACTED BUSINESS WITH NEW CUSTOMERS AS THEY CAME IN TO PUT IN ORDERS , HE THEN CAME BACK AND PUT HIS HANDS BACK INTO THE DOUGH. Finally my order was ready and I asked him for some garlic butter. He just stood there and looked at me. Finally this woman came out of the back somewhere and asked me what I needed. I told her what I had ask , she turned and ask him why he didn't give it to me . I ask if she was the manager and was told she was the assistant manager. I told her everything that I saw , she gave NO RESPONSE. ALL THIS HAPPENED @ 8:00 P.M. ON 4/6/2024 . Also , the restroom was absolutely filthy. Some of the worst pizza I've ever had the misfortune of getting.

I tried two different times, four different pizzas.

The first pizza was uncut, and the crust was so thin that it fell apart when you picked up a slice. The center of the pizza was paper thin and unable to be eaten.

The second pizza was the same, literally falling apart, and somehow very dry.

The third pizza was barely acceptable, just barely thick enough to be eaten without falling apart.

The fourth pizza was so dry that it was inedible. It ended up in the trash. I don't know how they managed to make a pizza so dry. It wasn't even crunchy, it was tough and chewy. It's like they used old stale bread and cooked it without any sauce.

I don't know how they could mess up making pizzas that badly. I won't be ordering from this location again. Terrible pizzas. Little Caesars is somehow better quality than this place. They cost almost 1/2 as much too.

No, I didn't order thin crust. I'm almost afraid what I would have gotten if I did. Possibly no bread.

I don't normally leave such long reviews. The length correlates with how horrid their pizzas were.
