This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a bar. If I could give a zero star review, I definitely would. The bartender on staff this evening, Nicholas, should be fired and I will never go to that place as long as he works there. Absolutely awful individual. He kicked my partner and I out because, get this, we ordered food. He literally threw a big baby boy tantrum in front of the whole establishment, accused us of losing him business/tips because my partner ordered mac and cheese (which was completely inedible btw) and told us to leave. The worst part is he intentionally misgendered my partner multiple times calling us both sir multiple times when he could clearly tell that my partner is female/transgender and had even interacted as such prior to his little meltdown. It was the most disrespectful interaction I have ever had with an employee at any business. Check your trans-hate at the door, Nicholas. Looking at past negative reviews that are clearly about him, I am amazed and shocked that he is still employed there. Worst bartender ever. Get rid of him before you lose more customers and get more bad reviews, 2nd Street Bar.

2nd Street Bar is an easy favorite.. the Bartenders are all extremely friendly, outgoing, and pour very well (so don't forget to tip)!! They have a great live DJ multiple nights of the week, and always great music.. Tuesdays are Karaoke night, and on Thursdays they hold a dance-off contest, with the winner receiving a gift certificate. The Bar itself is very large, and has plenty of comfortable seating everywhere you look. In the front area of the Bar they often have beer-pong tables set up, and in the back area of the Bar they have multiple Pool-tables, as well as other games, with Pool tournaments held certain nights of the week. Overall, 2nd Street Bar is by far one of the most unique Bars I've been to, and has a great atmosphere every night of the week.. Never a dull moment, and always a good time. -Bryce

We were looking for a "dive" bar on the way home from Xmas shopping. Got lucky with a Google Maps search. The bonus was being in downtown Gresham. Didn't know what to expect - pleasantly surprised. This place is probably pretty fun on a weekend night. Got some STIFF pours of tequila and bartender helped us out with the beer back. If you collect dive bars like we do - worth the stop!

I went to 2nd Street Bar for my first and last time on Friday (4/15/22). To start off I ordered a well vodka soda from the clearly annoyed bartender who mentioned the longer than usual wait time being because a coworker had called out. I didn’t mind waiting even though the bar was practically empty. The bartender said my drink would be $5 and I left my tab open. Shortly after, I ordered a Mai Tai, it was decent. The atmosphere was pretty dull so my friend and I got our checks. My bill came out to $14 which was marked as $7 for each drink even though the bartender told me earlier it would be $5 for the vodka soda. I didn’t fuss about it. I cashed out my card and tipped with cash. Today, the transaction finally goes through on my bank account and I was charged an extra $2 because I was silly enough to leave the tip line open on my receipt (did I mention I tipped with cash?). I learned my lesson and I won’t be getting drinks from these crooks anymore - it’s not about $2 it’s about the immorality. 0/10...
