Went there a few times recently and it was fine, yesterday walked in hot on a wait list to be seated then a few minutes later told the greeter that we will wait in the bar, he asks for my name again I tell him. At the bar girl takes phone call then disappears for at least five minutes comes back with food food to go for a man who was waiting. Walks by us says nothing. Bartender makes a couple drinks for the restaurant, (no one else was at the bar) never talks to us, never asks if we want a drink. Over 15 min goes by she asks if we think we have been forgotten, we say yes because all the people that came after us are seated and we were just contemplating if we should say something but I just got eye contact with the guy who wrote my name down so we didn't. Bartender tells the guy and then a different person comes apologizes and takes us to a table. We are told by a manager (I assume) that we get a free appetizer we order it. It is the fondue, we Waite to order dinner because we don't want it all to come at once. The fondue on the menu says nothing about tomatoes, it has a quarter cup of tomatoes when it arrives. I'm allergic and my mate hates them, we tell the waiter and he almost leaves it but then takes it and says we can choose something else, we do, the shrimp it is breaded and deep fried. As the waiter is walking away he says "do you want it spicy?" I say sure. We get it and it's covered in a lemon sauce and lemon slices, I am allergic to fruit. My friend says it tastes horrible. We do not eat it. We get our food and the waiter dose not offer parm for our pasta as he did with the other table moments ago. We have been polite, we have been kind, we said nothing about the shrimp. My friends dish is advertised as chicken crusted in parm, it is not it is covered in cheese and sprinkled with a crumb mixture. My spaghetti in Alfredo sauce is so over cooked it will not twist onto my fork it just breaks. Bill comes and the shrimp is on the bill. We tell the waiter it is fixed. He was definitely assuming we would be shity to him so he was anything but pleasant. I tipped him very well just to prove him wrong. Not sure we will ever go back. Was supposed to be our holiday meal together because we will not be spending it together this year....it was a real...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited yesterday, ordered my wife and myself the Seafood Fettacini with the Artichoke heart and Spinach dip Appetizers. It was a curbside no contact pickup. The first disappointment was they were out of the Appetizer we had order so it was replaced with bread sticks and dipping sauce. The bill was paid when I had placed the order, over the phone. It was approximately $53.00 plus a $10. tip. The wait time wasn't bad 10 minutes or so. Our dinner was brought out in a to go bag with handle. & off down the road we went to find a nice place to eat.. As we unloaded to Olive Garden sack we got to the bottom to discover NO NAPKINS OR UTENSILS to eat with so we had to go back to get em. Now we have everything we need we are back parked in our cozy chosen eating place when my wife removes the lid from her plate, wrinkles up her nose and says, 'can you smell that? It has that wild fishy smell' Then she took a bite of scallops and complained it was rubbery texture.. I can't eat this. The bread sticks had cooled down by this time and became hard but still good enough to scoop the dipping sauce up and eat off of it. I agreed with my wife about the Seafood Fettacini, only eating a couple bites I also replaced it back into the sack and we headed towards the Freeway to make the 70 miles back home... Conclusion; If you like Olive Garden*s Fettacini dipping sauce and don't mind paying $63.00 to lick it off a. Bread stick the Olive Garden is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYesterday, 2/28/2023, My husband and I reached a goal in DoorDashing, finishing in Gresham. We achieved 200 deliveries in the month of February, before midnight. We had spoke of eating at the Olive Garden and sharing a toast, if we made the goal. At 9:20, while in picking up our last order to deliver, Hubby called the Olive Garden to find out what time they stop seating, as they close at 10:00. We were told that they seat until 9:45. We pull into the OG parking lot at 9:41, I run (husband lags behind ;D) and we are seated right away. Our server did an outstanding job while under extreme pressure. We lightened things up, engaging in friendly conversation with her and I felt like we really connected, being the empath I am. When the manager came over (for the first time) with a rolling cart, he began taking dishes as they were emptied into boxes, and GRABBING our glasses, telling us to pass them over. He was rude, and lacks the personal skills that it takes to be in the hospitality industry. He should NOT BE working with the public nor should he manage other workers. I truely felt she was, basically, bullied by him. I hope she didn't go home and cry. Inez, you are wonderful and you deserve to be treated better! Hold your head high and keep being...
